Steampunk Geek Girl Banner

The first run of the 2009 Geek Girls Calendar has sold out, but the second printing has arrived.

The 2009 calendar features the following geeks: Chemistry, Librarian, Knitting, Math, Music, Grammar, History, Computer, Theater Tech, Roleplaying Game, Video Game, and Steampunk. None of the models in this calendar are just posing; they're all real geeks who are passionate about the themes of their pictures (quite passionate...these geeks are seriously hawt!). The twelve-month calendar also includes geeky holidays such as Pi Day, sci-fi cons, birthdays of notable geeks like Albert Einstein and Ada Lovelace, and the Unix timestamp 1234567890. Cost is $16.95 plus shipping, and the order form is on the website here.

Join the low-volume mailing list here. If you wish to help promote, feel free to use the above banner, the accompanying icon, or one of the other lovely icons and banners available on the website.

Many thanks to Geek-in-Chief [info]jedusor for making this all happen. The 2009 calendar is dedicated to the memory of Ava, our Chemistry Geek, and her portion of the proceeds will go towards a scholarship fund in her name. My calendar photos were taken by [info]tutordennis at Maker Faire (Bay Area) 2008, and the main page features The Whirlygig Emoto, Tom Sepe's steam-assisted motorbike.

A lot of people have said this to me since I started this project. I feel kind of like a juggler who juggles six balls and a bunch of people start yelling, "SEVEN! DO SEVEN!" :P I would love to see a sexy man geek calendar, too; let me know when you make it and I'll buy one.
