Story Title: Can't think of one.
What's the Story about: A KotOR II fic that, apart from reworking, expanding and stream-lining the game's narrative as the mood takes me, is going to explore that the Dantooine Academy seems to have been riddled with lesbians.
Characters or Pairings: Multiple LSF!Exile/F pairings
Genre: Whatever you see Knights of the Old Republic as.
Rating: Oh, we'll probably hit NC-17 at some stage or another.
Warnings: Only the obvious - Femslash. Plenty of fighting and death up close & personal.
What is needed from a beta: Basically another pair of eyes and a long attention span (I'm starting chapter 4 and the characters have only just made the hyperspace jump to Telos; this is going to take a while) who doesn't mind offering opinions and suggestions. Being comfortable with present-tense prose and a familiarity with Australian/UK spelling wouldn't hurt either. |

What's the Story about: (Short description only.) Set post ROTJ (with reference to events in ROTS). Facing decisions about his future, Luke sets out to investigate a clue to the circumstances of his birth, and makes a surprising discovery.
Characters or Pairings: Luke/Han
Genre: Slash. Sex scenes integral to the plot
Rating: NC-17 overall, predominantly PG-13
Warnings: none, other than slash
What is needed from a beta: This is a long story, which has taken some time to write. It's almost finished, but I think it needs some heavy editing. However, I'm unsure just how to approach that editing, and am hoping to find someone who will be able to give me an honest opinion about the story, e.g. whether it will work in the end, and what changes I need to make. Having gone over it myself too many times to count I need another pair of eyes. The story is currently over 115 pages in Word, which I know seems off-putting, but I would be happy to have it beta'd bit by bit.
If anyone did have the time or inclination to look at this for me, I'd be very grateful.

Story Title: Serenity in Darkness
Status: Work in progress. Could possibly be as many as three chapters. I'm going to try and keep this short.
What's the Story about: A story about a Jedi Master who survived Order 66 and was able to make a come back. Alternate universe.
Characters or Pairings: Riley Caden (OC), Sark Kele (OC), Adok (OC), mention of Yoda and Obi-Wan, Selaria (OC), possible mention of Obi-Wan and Yoda. Sark, Adok, and Selaria are characters belonging to RP friends of mine.
Genre: General, possibly a bit of romance, possible action/adventure
Rating: G, PG
Warnings: None, really, other than that the time periods are kind of cooky. The prologue takes place after Return of the Jedi, and the chapters will take place during the prequels. Think of it as sort of a memoir.
What is needed from a beta: I can't think of anything specific, really, other than general stuff. Spelling/grammar shouldn't be a huge issue. It would be a big help if the betaer(s) were members/betaers at theforce.net so that I can try and get it archived. If you are a beta reader there, I'll need your usernames when the time comes for me to submit the story. It won't be the biggest deal in the world, though, if you're not one. |

Basic Summary:Anakin has been injured, and now it is up to Obi-Wan to look after him as he struggles to recover. However, the halluncinations that Anakin endures whilst under medication begin to reveal a much more darker story revolving around the truth of his assault.
What is needed from a beta: Grammatically, this story is already fine, but I'm concerned about the plot as a whole. It's designed to be a bit confusing, but I want to make sure that it makes sense by the time it's finished ... for example, does the ending work? Are some parts too long, some too short? Is extra explanation needed in certain scenes? I want to make sure that this story actually makes sense; I understand it because I thought of it, but I'm not sure if everyone else will ... eep.
Preferably I would love to have two or maybe even three people look this one over so I can get a more varied idea of how this works. If you're interested, I'll A) love you forever and B) return the favor if you need me to.

Characters or Pairings: Obi Wan / Anakin

Rating: NC-17 overall, although some chapters may not get above PG.
Warnings: Mpreg, slash
What is needed from a beta: More or less, I am looking for characterization and universal accuracy. I don't know that much about Star Wars other than what was in the movies, so if there's a character I need to know about or a planet that would work for a setting, getting those suggestions would be great. Grammar and spelling can be checked as well, but I don't think that those will be very big problems.
Okay, just a quick selling note to anyone who is interested EXCEPT for the mpgeg part: this story will not be a sappy smutty story. I've already got the entire story laid out chapter by chapter, and while a male pregnancy is the main plot point, there is a lot else that goes on. If that still really squicks you, someone could still beta read the earlier chapters were there is no pregnancy yet.
This is my first SW fanfiction and the first story I have written for fanfiction in well over a year, but I am a avid writer of original short stories so I have plenty of experience with grammar and tense and plot, so you don't need to worry about reading a poorly written story.

I need a beta for the third part of an rps fic, the first two parts are linked below. I feel a little awkward about approaching anyone specific in case they are busy, so I thought I'd post this here.

Title: Knotted Shoelaces Part 3/3.
Summary: Set after the filming of Episode III. Ewan and Hayden are trying to put the past behind them after all that has happened before. It gets a bit angsty in places. There's not a whole lot of sex in this part as far as I can remember.
Pairing: Ewan McGregor/Hayden Christensen. And Hayden/some random guy.
Genre: RPS.
Rating: NC-17 overall, this part is more like an R.
Word count: 3,568 for this part.

It just needs checking for errors in grammar, spelling and punctuation, and any facts I've misplaced. Any comments on plot, characterisation etc are also most welcome. I love and learn from all concrit.
I have a very fragmented style, I don't appear to like conjunctions and I'm perfectly happy with 'invisible commas' rather than rigidly rearranging my sentences to fit comma rules. I'd suggest having a quick look at the earlier parts of the fic to see what my style is like. If the way I write doesn't really annoy you then I'd love your help.
