AboutThis is the LJ community for StarMerrow Science Fiction and Fantasy, a group for creators of speculative fiction (writers, artists, filmmakers, musicians, etc.). We emphasize original work but are friendly with fanfic folk as well. We are especially interested in alternative business and marketing models: using new technologies, cutting costs, going independent, collaborating, exploring copyright issues, etc.
Post about any of the following: market/resource information, requests for collaborators, information about yourself and your work, news of general interest to spec fic creators, philosophical or practical discussion about spec fic art and business, and other things along those lines.
You may post your creative work but be advised that for most markets THIS COUNTS AS PUBLICATION and may hurt your chances to publish your work elsewhere.
If you create science fiction/fantasy, you are also welcome to post an artist's profile.
