Note: spoilers through "Shrine".

Why rec'd? For some reason it seems like there hasn't been all that much of this sort of fic around lately -- just good, old-fashioned friendship-based action-adventure h/c. This story revisits the Hoffan drug and the Carson-Rodney friendship as well as touching on Rodney's relationship with his team -- along with giant ducks, flying bullets and team snark/banter. A fun, entertaining story that left me with a happy warm glow at the end.
