I'm trying to sort out what is going to be the easiest way to maintain this as we look at adding both SGU and NCIS:LA into the fold here in the near future.  I like the idea of a straight forward, flat list, but it gets unruly to scroll/manage after a while and I'm not that clever a coder to be able to do fancy stuff to the column headings so folks can sort by them.

I'm considering using a modified eFiction installation.  That way folks could search by all sorts of options.  And if I prune it back it shouldn't be too much of a hassle for folks to use.

Thoughts and discussion welcome on this :)  After all - you all are the ones using this list!

Hi! Looks like it's time for your friendly neighborhood mostly-hands-off moderator to stick her nose back in to say hello!

First, I'd like to thank all of you who've been posting here; it's a great resource for fans with a particular interest in the Stargate subsection of the crossover pool, and I've really enjoyed reading the stories.

However, I have noticed a slippage in the usage of tags in recent months. I understand that it takes a few extra clicks to add them on, or to comment on the latest modpost to ask for new ones to be created, but it makes the community much easier to search and more useful to fans discovering the community for the first time when they are consistently applied. Please take that extra moment when you post; I'd really prefer not to have to take a more active role in moderating around here.

To clarify - every single post should have at least one of the dot tags from the top of the list of tags, and preferably more if you're posting fic (.ficpost, and either .sga or .sg1 depending on the base fandom for the crossover, plus the outside fandom(s) you're crossing with).

-summary- Sam Beckett orients himself, post-Leap, and finds that he has once again exceeded the parameters of his experiment. Rather spectacularly so.
