Unfortunately there aren't ten people who are interested in an exchange this year. I'd like to thank those interested for voting in the poll. I'm trying to gauge interest in participation in a Stargate SG-1 Christmas exchange.
Sign-ups would run at the end of October, with assignments going out on/around November 11th. (Give me some wiggle room, I'm getting ready to change jobs/move.) Assignments would be due by January 10th. (Give people a chance to survive the holidays.)
So, interested? Poll closes on Saturday, October 27th. (Hey, you get a few extra days to decide, I was planning on putting up this poll this weekend. :D)

Despite my best laid plans, I have run into some difficulties with your present. I have finished a bucketload of delectable Jonas graphics for you, and had meant to post them whilst on holidays. To my disgust, I seem to have left my flash drive at home which means that I cannot post your pressies until early January. :( I feel really really horrible and I am very sorry, but I can't do anything about it. Please accept my apologies and forgive me until I get home, at which time I shall most definitely post your pressies. Once again, sorry.
P.S. The dog does look a little scary...

Bravery expressed itself in many different manners. A soldier could go above and beyond the call of duty. He or she could rush into a firefight and save countless other soldiers. He, or she, could crash his plane during a brave maneuver that saved an entire squadron of fellow soldiers. Bravery was personified in many ways.

You can start posting your gifts for your Secret Santa recipient on the 20th, this coming Tuesday. But don't worry, you have until the 27th to get them up.

We have some people who haven't posted their wishlists yet. Those of you who haven't need do to so by next Friday (a week from now, December 2 - three and a half weeks before the final day of posting gifts) or else I'll have to assign your Santa to someone else and you'll get left out of the exchange. I don't want to have to do this, but the Secret Santas can't do/make something for you if they don't have a wish list from you. And the first day for posting gifts is just over a month away, so I don't want to cut short the amount of time your Secret Santas' have to work on your gifts.
Please put something up for your Santa's soon!

I still have a few people who haven't replied to my assignment email. If you didn't get an email please reply to this post with a correct email address. If you did get an email please respond to it soon! If I don't get responses either here or via email I'm going to have to assume you aren't taking part and reassign people and I don't want to have to do that because I think you all are awesome and I want you all to participate.
Anyways, timeline reminders:
Today is Monday November 14
December 20 (just over a month away) is the earliest to start posting fics.
December 27 is the last day to post.
If you don't think you're going to be available to post during that time, email me with your gifts and I can post them for you.
That said, I hope everyone has a great time working on this and good luck!

I've sent emails out to everyone signed up for stargate_santa this year. Let me know if you received the email by replying to it. And if you didn't get an email, reply to this!
We have three people who haven't posted their wishlists yet. Please do so quickly! If your person hasn't posted by tomorrow evening, give me a whistle so I can remind them! :D Also, if you have any questions/need clarification from the person you're writing for, please remember reply to their wishlists anon so to not spoil the surprise!
