This community is open for anybody who is obsessed with Starbucks. Please join and meet fellow Starbucks Whores! A Starbucks Whore is one who doesn't mind submitting the obscene prices in Starbucks because they appreciate the true beauty of a frappuccino or a muffin. A Starbucks Whore goes to Starbucks an obscene amount of times a week and in their local store their baristas recognise them. And of course, their dream job is to work there! starbuckswhores was founded and is maintained by the truly obsessed rock_the_kasbah and kawaii :) The usual boring community rules apply: no asking for codes, no excessive swearing, blah blah.

Note from kawaii (Lara): Hey! I live in the UK so my Starbucks experience is probably quite different to the US one. I first went to Starbucks when I was on a family holiday to Oregon. Needless to say, I was overjoyed when they started building stores over here! I spend most of my spare time chilling in Starbucks with my boyfriend who is a convert due to the fact that I take him there everyday :D Oh, and I'm a comfy chair slut. Welcome!

Note from rock_the_kasbah (Kylie): I am a US starbucks whore. sadly, i am not from Seattle, where Starbucks was created/born/conceived/whatever you want to call it. I first went to starbucks when the first barnes and noble in OK opened. yes, the aroma of starbucks took me over by surprise. i had been a steadfast coffee drinker since the age of 8, but now-starbucks had dawned on me. this year, my part of oklahoma got it's first stand-alone starbucks...and now we have 4 in our area-even one right by my house! i usually go everyday, and sometimes, twice a day. i'm more into the coffee and caramel frappuchinos, not to mention iced chais and iced caramel macchiatos. i usually get mine skinny, and sugar free. i <3 their pastries as well-the new cinnamon crisps, blueberry muffins, pound cake, cheesecake-i <3 it all....even the comfy plush chairs! how could you NOT have a lovely cozy little coffee house where you can chill and/or study IF YOU DON'T HAVE COMFY CHAIRS?! even my extended family is obsessed....not as much as me of course. for holidays, we get and give starbucks gift cards!!! aaaaaah the joy of starbucks......
