[15 Apr 2006|01:54am] tigereyed24 [ mood | accomplished ] [ music | Stabilo - Starting Fires ] Thanks for all your help guys :) I couldn't narrow it down to 10, so I'm going with 12. I never thought trying to pick the perfect songs would be so stressful o.O haha. And I feel bad because I feel Jesse is over-represented in my selection, and I really wanted to try and include close to equal amounts of Jesse and Chris songs, but... when it comes down to it apparently most of my favourites are Jesse songs. Sorry to Chris :( haha. Here's my final selection, if anyone cares and/or wants to use the same idea when converting new fans... *twitches* No. Must keep this selection. NO MORE CHANGING. 1. I don't forsee deleting it until the domain expires, so you have most of a year. And since there's only about 10 of us even in this community, I don't mind posting this link for you guys to use as well.. As long as you're only giving it to select people and not spreading it all around public forums and the likes! :) If my bandwidth starts going all crazy I'll just move the file haha. Anyways. So, I shamelessly pimp this band to everyone and their uncles on a regular basis, and I have been getting a few people come back and say "FINE, I'll listen to them. Hook me up with some songs to get a feel for them?" And so I've decided I want to make a general mix of the best Stabilo songs that show what a great band they are and that will draw in lots of new convertees. I'm thinking, I don't know, 10 songs? And I'm just going to have it constantly on hand so I can quickly and easily present it to people as I convert them over :D So my question, then, is: What are all your favourite Stabilo songs, ones that show off the band really well, and/or you think would definately include to draw in new people? I've loved Stabilo ever since I first heard "Everybody" on the radio a couple years ago, but I've only recently (the past year or so) started listening to their other songs. I'm pissed at myself for not listening to them sooner, heh. So what is everyones favorite Stabilo song? Mine would have to be "Any Other Girl" or "Flawed Design" but I love every one of their songs. (Hmm, all the posts in this community are all professional-ish, I hope this post is okay.) Man, I can't believe there are only 6 or so people in this community.
