What may I submit?
A transcript of anything Hugh Laurie and/or Stephen Fry have ever performed or said on television, film, radio, and so forth. This, of course, excludes audio books as you can just go buy the book... now can't you? Also, please no transcripts of House episodes and only send in A Bit Of Fry & Laurie sketches as they appeared on the episodes... which is different than they are in the books. Interviews are highly appreciated.
What is this transcript of which you speak?
A transcript is where you write down every word of what is said and (if needed) a brief description of the action. A great example are the House transcripts linked below. Please, don't put them in standard script format.... if you don't know what that is, then you probably don't need to worry about if you're doing it wrong or not.
an example of the correct way would be-
Stephen: Please, please, write what we are saying in a format such as this.
Hugh: Otherwise, we may get very cross indeed.
Stephen: Would we?
Hugh: Yes.
Please include as much information as you can about the title of the programme, authors, dates... any info you know of about the source material. Spell check is your friend. ONLY submit things in which you have transcribed yourself, unless you credit the original transcripter.
*Don't be shy to ask questions, offer suggestions, or point out any corrections that need to be made. We'd like this to be as useful, fun, and as accurate as humanly possible.
