A little lesson in Charms.
Name(s): Keisuke Nago ([info]ysobuttons), Tidus ([info]imaginaryfayth). Anyone else who wants a little lesson in Charms is also welcome, I suppose~ ^^
Location: Outside.
Day: Eight!
Time: Sometime before dinner.
Rating: PG, at least, for now~

Keisuke couldn't help that feeling of boredom these days--studying was boring, and although it was something that had to be done, it certainly wasn't as entertaining as he would have liked it to be. Helping another student with studying was probably a better idea compared to simply avoiding homework all together. At least then, he'd be able to get some studying in, and maybe at least keep things somewhat interesting. He wasn't too familiar with the student he'd be helping out with charms, but Keisuke hoped that this would be much better compared to one of those regular afternoons he'd become to accustomed to.

The weather outside wasn't too bad for this time of day. Keisuke leaned against the stone building, arms crossed as he waited patiently for his fellow student to arrive. He didn't really have anything better to do, anyway, so he wasn't too bothered if the other was late or not.

..although, that might be a little bit annoying. What could one accomplish if they were never on time?

Tidus was only a minute or two late, but wasn't very worried about it. He recognized Keisuke from his classes, since they were both in the same year, but they'd never had much reason to talk to each other. Their interests were in completely different areas of life, so the most they'd ever done before was partner up for classes.

"Hey!" he called out, waving like an idiot and smiling in a similar manner. He would never believe someone if they tried to tell him how stupid he looked when he did that. He'd been doing it since he was a little kid. "Keisuke, right?" he asked at a much more reasonable volume, once he was closer.

If Keisuke hadn't been completely sure of his classmate before, he was certainly sure now. It almost made him smile a little, to see Tidus so cheerful. He seemed to have energy, which maybe, hopefully, meant that he had some sort of potential. He didn't know what Charms the other needed help with, exactly, but Keisuke thought he might be able to have patience with someone like this.

He nodded kindly, and said, "Yes, that's me. Then.. you're Tidus, right?" Of course, he didn't really need that reassurance now, he was definitely the kid he thought he was from the classes they shared. Still, it would be the first time they were formally meeting, wouldn't it? In that case, he had no reason to be rude. "How is everything? I hope that you're taking care of yourself."

"Yeah, of course I am!" Tidus said, trying not to give in to the urge to give Keisuke a friendly punch on the shoulder. "Everything's great," he continued, "...except for those few old Charms..."

The biggest problem was that he couldn't remember any of the first year charms, since he hadn't needed to use them in so long.

"Of course," Keisuke said, feeling rather glad that the other actually remembered why they were meeting here. Somehow, Tidus struck him as being a little clumsy, so he was a little cautious when he was asked for help in the first place. People who would rather mess around than work to their fullest potential were of no interest to him, after all. Bad influences, they were.

"What Charms are you having trouble with?" Keisuke asked, offering Tidus a friendly little smile. "Anything in particular?"

Tidus sheepishly scratched the back of his head. "There...aren't many that I remember. And Professor Rangiku said we should know alsmost all of them to make sure that we'd be ready for anything that she decided we should use..."

Man, I sound so stupid. How could I forget those, they're so easy! At least it won't take long for him to show me one or two of them...

Keisuke nodded slowly, wondering suddenly if his impression of this guy had actually been wrong. Keisuke wasn't wrong very often, so.. maybe he was just confused? Charms weren't too difficult to Keisuke, so..

He gave up trying to understand a possibility for this and decided it really didn't matter. He would help out Tidus regardless of whether he was just looking for some kind of refresher or.. if he was just plain stupid. Keisuke was already here, so there wasn't much point in turning back now. Besides, he just couldn't be wrong about Tidus. Something told him that this guy had some kind of potential.

"So.. you want me to start with the basics, then?" he asked, just making sure.
