I'm just posting to let you know that if you ever get this off the ground, I probably can no longer contribute as I expecting a baby within the next seven weeks. I am very disappointed that the second chapter was never delivered by Bitten, being that it was due on the 26th of June, and I think it was very rude to leave jessica's brilliant first chapter hanging. Anyway, I wish you luck if you do manage to get it going and I would still love to read the end product. I can't promise further involvement but I will leave myself open to it.

But we're not always completely sure about our writing and sometimes the reviews we get don't help us out that much. This new community is a place where you can post your fics and get complete honesty. People won't be nice about your fics just for the sake of it, but they also won't flame you. It is a community for complete honesty. Authors and readers alike will read your stories and tell you what they honestly think. Give you advice on where you're going wrong and how to make it write. Hey everyone, it's me again! :)
I'm almost done with the first chapter! Should I wait my deadline or is it ok to post it ahead of time if I finish early? Just wondering . . .

Hey, I'm excited about the fic! The idea for it is great! Anyway, I'm already brainstorming since I'm first on the list . . . . just to make sure we're clear, my being first on the list means I get the first chapter, right? If so, then I was wondering if it's ok that I write up to the part where Spike takes Buffy home, cuz I have a really cute idea for it . . . but if someone else really wants to write that part, let me know if I'm being greedy, lol. I just figured the first part could be like a prologue, and would kind of be a set up for the rest of the fic. But if anyone disagrees (or if someone else is supposed to be writing before me or anything) please let me know. Thanks! :)

Ok guys, the fic we will write has been chosen and that fic is idea number 1 which you can check out in the previous post made by Nicky. This is an amazing idea (a challenge set by karbear57 at BSV) and i think we will have a lot of fun writing it.
The title of this fic will be: As Time Goes By
And here is the writing Order and writing deadlines , this is the date by when you should have your chapter in, if you cannot get your chapter posted by that date, let us know, that chapter will go to the next person in line and you move to the end of the list. This is just so that we can keep things organised and fair all round. We want to make it easier for everyone this time around with much less confusion this time. Anyway, the writing order is:

Hello all!
Gather round for my first post on LJ in about 6 months...
I'm back (officially in a few days - with completed stories to boot!) and I haven't failed to notice the wonderful effort Jo ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) jo__angel (a.k.a spikesbabyblues ) has been making to insure that we get another (great) round of Spuffy Tennis!
Since none of you seem to have really given your opinion on the six ideas she chose, we have between us decided on two stories for you to choose from - one being AU and one being BV.
It's ultimately up to you (as readers or writers of round) which one gets chosen, so get voting!
The choices are...
Idea 1 - BV
Drusilla takes Buffy when she's a child (say ~4 y.o.) and brings her to Spike who is upset at something Dru did (you pick)!!! Spike decides to piss Dru off by letting Buffy-the-kid go and actually takes her back to her home. She weeds her way into William's (not the demon) heart by hugging him or something utterly cute like that. Years later- Buffy is called to be a Slayer. Will Spike remember the 4y.o. sparkling green eyes as she fights him for her life?
Must haves:
1.No Angel/us stalking Buffy
2.Spike and Drusilla on the outs
3.Spike biting (claiming or turning) Buffy in a sensual way
Can haves:
1.Set before Sunnydale
2.Pg13-Nc17
3.Spike checking up on Buffy as she grows up.
OR
Idea 2 - AU
Hank and Joyce Summers are self-employed business owners, who hire the children of their employees to do odd jobs during the summer. Their daughter, Buffy, is in charge of delegating jobs for the other teenagers. When they hire a new manager/foreman/whatever else there could be in their business, Rupert Giles, he brings along his deviant son Spike to keep him out of trouble. Spike and Buffy meet and sparks fly (you choose whether they like or hate each other). Eventually, they hook up, but Buffy's parents disapprove of her dating someone like Spike, so they keep their relationship a secret. Drama ensues.
Suggestions:
Willow [Buffy's friend from school]- secretary
Xander [Willow and Buffy's friend form other summers, knew Spike form before]-(you chose his job)
Anya [accountant's (person who buys things for the company) daughter.

Ok, i had a look at the bloodshedverse challenges and i liked these so i decided to let you guys have a look. If you prefer any of these to the other au ideas then please say so. I want to have the fic decided by tonight and if it seems like nobody is bothered by which fic we write, for fairness sake i will pick one randomly from a hat. I think that's the fairest way. Ok here's the ideas
Idea 1
The only Rock station within a hundred miles of Sunnydale has changed formats and now plays Talk Radio. Write us a fic where Spike goes on a rampage about it, as the scoobies try to talk him out of pulling there tower down with his desoto, burning down there studio Buffy reralizes she totaly wants this bad boy :P
Must haves:
1. Lines that must be used: Spike saying, "Its the only bloody station that plays the Ramones." Giles saying about the whole thing. "I think this is proof positive that even a demon as evil as William the Bloody can be redeemed."
Can haves:
1.The other guys secretly hoping he gets away with it and Giles openly asking how is what Spike is doing evil???
Idea 2

A Buffy from another dimension is somehow brought to Season six Sunnydale. In the alternate dimension, Buffy and a completely unchipped and soulless Spike are together and very happy (and have been for some time... details up to you) and he works by her side helping her with her slayer duties. In her dimension, her friends and Giles all get on well with Spike. Whether the Angel relationship ever happened in the alternate dimension is up to you.
Must haves:
1.The Scoobies finding her when she first arrives and taking her ‘under their wing’.
2.Alternate dimension Buffy seeing the Scoobies and Buffy’s treatment of Spike and being disgusted and or upset by it.
3.Spike and alternate dimension Buffy strike up a friendship very quickly.
4.Buffy being jealous of alternate dimension Buffy’s easy friendship with Spike. And show the Scoobies reaction to their friendship too.
5.Dawn doesn’t exist in the alternate dimension. (How alternate Buffy deals with Dawn is up to you
6.Bitey Spuffy goodness
Can haves:
1.Alternate dimension Buffy helping Buffy deal with the whole pulled out of heaven thing, her difficulties with standing up to her friends and her feelings for Spike.
2.Alternate dimension Buffy getting to go home to her Spike or staying in this dimension however if she stays she should be happy so maybe a relationship could develop between the two Buffy’s and Spike.
3.Events in season six could possibly be severely altered by having not 1 but 2 slayers there.
Can't have
1. Alternate dimension Buffy ever treating Spike badly.

Ok guys, so far we have 10 amazing authors signed up to write on this round of spuffy tennis. But we can always use more, so pass the word out to your writer friends or anyone you think would be interested in giving writing a go. And send them on over!
Also, we need to decide on a storyline. I've had a look in the spuffy fantasy idea factory and found a few ideas for au fics i thought you might like. But please, if any of you have ideas feel free to comment with them and i'll add them to this post for everyone to decide which idea they like best. But so far, here are the ideas i found:
Idea 1
Twenty-two years ago Joyce and Hanks Summers gave up their first born child. They were newly married and Hank felt that it was best to concentrate on his upcoming career. Five years later they have another daughter Dawn who they raise. After divorcing Hank, Joyce moves Dawn away from the fast life of Las Vegas to the suburbs. Everything is great life is happy happy then Dawn gets sick. She needs a donor and the only possible match is the sister she's never met.
Buffy was taken from her abusive home when she was a kid and bounced from forster homes until she was eighteen. For the past few years she's been working as an exotic dancer at one of the hottest clubs in Las Vegas. She's a single mom trying to survive with her three year old daughter Kendra the best way she knows how. After locating her, family friend Spike is sent to bring her back. Can he convince her to help save her sister? Will she accept the love and family that he is offering or will she try to continue hiding behind a painful past?
Idea 2
Buffy owns a horse ranch in Kentucky. She been left a lot of money when her parents died but never used any of it she wanted to make it on her own. She makes her living by using her ranch as a B&B, she teachs the guest to ride and stuff of the like.
Willow and Xander want to chear their Friend William/Spike up after Drusilla left him. So... where to they take him for a change a pace? Buffy B&B (duh!?)
Must haves:
1- Tara working for Buffy as the cook and Willow falling for her
2- Anya working for Buffy with the money stuff, Xander falling for her
3- Buffy teaching spike to ride and him falling off and making an ass out of himself

Hey guys,
Ok so i have spoken to Nicky and she has given me permission to start a new tennis fic with you guys. I know we now ahve spuffy_me_now that vamps posted about earlier, which is a wonderful community, but the way i see it you can never have enough spuffy fic communities. And this one was created so that all of us writers could get together and write a good fic and have fun! And fun is the most important thing.
But things are going to be different this time from the last attempt at a fic. Which led to a lot of upset. I think we need to be more organised and that's what i'm here for. I will not tolerate flaming under any circumstances. Everyone writes differently, has their own strengths and weaknesses and that is what makes writing a tennis fic so much fun. Because in using each person's individual strengths we come out with a great story. So nobody will be made to feel bad about their writing, any flamer will be dealt with immediately and it won't be allowed to go on.
Also, writing order. This seems to have been the hardest part to sort out. I will randomly choose names to make up a writing order for everyone and that will be the order that everyone will write in. It just makes everything so much easier and fairer, i think.
As for the fic we write, well i will take suggestions but i will also look around and think of some ideas myself and we will choose the favourite idea of the majority to write. Again it's just much fairer.
So what do you guys say? You wanna give it another shot in writing a fic? I think we could have a lot of fun and come out with a great story. If you wanna give it a shot then comment and let me know and also tell me if you will be writing. Thanks guys :)

Ok peeps (waves at nicky) I know we had some bad times but I and Angelic Vampyre have opened another Tennis group. this one will NOT tolerate any flaming or bashing and anyone doing it will get chewed up and spit out. TRUST ME ;)

Ok i know things went awry....even though I was out of the loop. I was wondering if we're going to do this? I for one say YES...HELL YES!!!!! I say we start with a new story. Maybe a totally happy fluffy spuffy fic? You know...to air out the bad moodies? Something where they go to the bahamas to hunt a vamp or demon? or an A/U fic where it's all romance, puppies and xmas? Who's with me? HUH HUH HUH?
I suck at being a cheerleader but i really did like writing on this last time and i'd like to continue it. I'll even write the first chapter if you want. Or make naked spikes for encouragement?
Just a thought...:D hope we can make our way clear again.

First off, I owe you all an apology.
I have been so caught up in Boys Like William, that I have neglected ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/community.gif) spuffy_tennis . There isn’t an excuse for that – but as far as emails go, I wasn’t aware that any had been sent to me apart from one I got from facingthesun yesterday.
If my inbox didn’t recognize the names or emails of senders then your messages probably will have gone in my junk-mail section and been deleted before I checked again.
The reply I have to facingthesun is that we should start from scratch. Take the chapters away for now.
We were so caught up in the plot ideas, and letting our readers tell us that they needed more, that we didn’t organize anything properly.
We need a campaign. We need to be pimping spuffy_tennis and the new story, posting banners, summaries, etc all over different communities.
Anyone who is interested in James, Spike, Buffy, Spuffy, BtVS will hear about the fic before we even start to think about posting it again.
It’s not the answer to all our troubles, but it will surely help with getting the community going again.
Any ideas or comments?
To AngelicVampyre: I want the names (or emails if you don’t know them) of the people who sent you nasty messages. I WILL NOT tolerate people sending our writers horrible emails.
To the senders of horrible mail:
If you are a writer, then shame on you. You should know better.
If you aren’t, then you should get some balls. It takes a lot to write something and put it out there on the net for everyone to see. It’s YOUR WORK something you have spent time and energy putting together. It hurts to have that bashed around. There is never anything wrong with a little criticism, but AngelicVampire was obviously upset by your comments.

Question: Are we going to enact a time limit per chapter? I was thinking 2-3 weeks would be nice. It gives those that aren't sure what to write enough time to brainstorm and the readers a known deadline.

Ok, Spuffy Tennis friends it's me, the horrid person who demanded to start the next story but hasn't wrote the chapter yet. I can't get into writing the chapter and I don't know why. I've written a chapter and rewritten the chapter and started over completely... some of you have seen what I started on...but still nothing feels right to me.
So here's the deal, I'm going to put up the best that my little stubborn brain can come up with and then if no one likes it, we can dump the chapter and I'll resign my spot as the first writer.
I feel so bad for making everyone wait.
