AboutRules and Regulations of SpreeShop

Some changes made...
1. General Issues
- All posts in the community have to go through moderation.
2. How are it categorised? (What type of sprees can be held?)
- Online merchants (eg wetseal, forever21, drugstore, amazon etc.)
- HK/Taiwan/Japan/Korea/Australia auctions/websites
- Ebay / Yahoo Auctions
- Supplier sprees (it is your responsibilty to make sure that your supplier is a trust worthy one)
- Your own customized DIY items!
Please note that for supplier sprees and selling of your own items, you are required to have at least 10 pieces of the same item, we do not allow sale of a single piece of item.
Pls note the followings:-
(a) Copyright regulations:
No selling/spreeing of burned/pirated/illegal CDs, VCDs or DVDs.
Which means we do not accept CD/VCD/DVDs sprees at all.
1st time offenders = 2 weeks suspension. Repeat offenders = ban.
(b) Authenticity regulations:
In consideration of authenticity/copyright/legal policies in place, supplier sprees for all branded items claimed to be authentic or otherwise will not be allow.
1st time offenders = 2 weeks suspension. Repeat offenders = ban.
(c) Others:
No sale of animals (though adoptions are allowed), alcohol, cigarettes, firearms, pornography, adult material, anything illegal or anything that requires a license for sale in Singapore.
No selling/spreeing of contact lens.
1st time offenders = 2 weeks suspension. Repeat offenders = ban.
3. Spree Organizer/Sellers Registration
-Application of new Spree Organizers:
- Send us an application to spreeshop.mod@gmail.com in the following format to be a an official spreeshop's organizer:

Mobile phone number:
Bank name and account number: (the one used for spree transactions)
Spree experiences: (you may give us links of your feedback received from organizing sprees or sales from other websites like yahoo or other forums)
- It is COMPULSORY to be a member of spreeshopfb in order to be an official spree organizer of spreeshop
Currently, we are accepting only experienced sellers/organisers, which means that you must have a certain no. of feedbacks.
All applications are taken into consideration carefully.
We have the right to reject your application if you do not meet our requirements.
After you have sent out your email, pls wait for at least 3 to 7 days for your application to process.
Once approved, you will receive an email from us.
After that you can start to sell your items or organise spree.
Note: No multiple accounts are allowed. If we find out, you will be ban immediately.
4. Organizing Sprees/Selling your items
A) Spree organiser:
Please use the exchange rates that we provide.
On your spree page, please state clearly:
1) whether you are providing meet ups or via normal/registered mails
2) the exchange rate and any cost that is going or will be involved (eg. GST/shipping charges etc)
3) how is it going to ship to SG (eg. via vpost, CGW etc)
4) Handling fees (for envelopes, bubble wrap etc) Pls note that a maximum of $0.50 handling fee is allowed to charge per spree-er per spree.
5) Pls ensure that your feedback link is shown on the spree page.
6) For supplier sprees, it is more difficult to determine if the organiser is making a profit or not. If you feel that the price is too high or uncomfortable with the organiser, pls do not join his/her sprees.
7) No screening of comments.
8) No repeating of spree post while it is still viewable on the first page.
Only 1 pic is allowed outside lj-cut.
If you have more than 1 pic, pls do a lj-cut.
Pic size should not be larger than 300 x 300.
5. Things to take note:
- Exchanging mobile numbers, personal info, addresses etc are to be done at the discretion of organizers/sellers and
participants.
- We warmly welcome all shoppaholics to join sprees/buy items here but kindly note that you are joining at your own risk, if you do not feel comfortable with a spree organizer/seller, kindly DO NOT join his/her sprees or buy things from him/her.
-It is your own responsibility to keep a look out for updates via your emails or the threads here. Once you joined a spree here, we hope you can check back regularly for updates so that it makes things easier for the spree organizers too.
-If you feel that a spree organizer is being irresponsible and not doing her job properly or being very unreasonable, pls do not hesitate to inform us.
