WELCOME TO SUPERNATURAL STORY FINDERS

Looking for a story you can't find or don't remember the title of? Lost the link? Got a case of "there was this fiction with Dean and Sam and a monster who possessed a kid and where was it posted again?" You are in the right place! Here you can give what information you have and ask everyone to help you find it. All genres and pairings are welcome. We don't guarantee your inquiry will be answered but hopefully there is someone who can help point you in the right direction.

You are also allowed to request recommendations (i.e. death!fics, episode related, AU's, future fics, etc...)

*****A FEW NEW POSTING RULES***** (Updated on May 20th, 2007)

For a post to be accepted by a moderator, there are some basic guidelines that must be followed.

Rule the First: Use capital letters. Please. First word of the sentence, names, places, titles, 'I'--all need to be capitalized.

Rule the Second: Use apostrophes. They show possession( Dave's car) and are necessary for contractions(can't).

Rule the Third: Use punctuation. Please, for the love of whatever it is you worship. Periods, commas, semicolons--USE them.

Rule the Fourth: Please try to spell-check your submission.

Rule the Fifth: Use LJ-cuts for any explicit content and spoilers. If you wouldn't feel comfortable describing the story you're searching for to your 103 year old grandmother or your three-year-old nephew, put it behind a cut! Anything about any season 2 episodes also needs to go behind a cut.

Rule the Sixth: Before submitting your post, make sure you've searched at least the last three months in the community.

Rule the Seventh: Please use the subject line to show what you're looking for, to help others when they peruse the community.

Rule the Eighth: If any of the above confuses you, let me know and I'll explain further.

IMPORTANT NOTE: A few mistakes are not grounds for rejecting a post; it is understood that there are many non-native English speakers in the world and using this community. Please, just follow these guidelines to the best of your ability.

The Few Rules:

* Once you have found what you're looking for, edit your posts with a link or a note like "ETA: Found!"
* When requesting fics to read, please specify if you want Wincest/nonWincest recs.
* Supernatural related inquiries only please. All other fandoms can be found at

the_rec_room.
* Please, don't strike your post after finding what you were looking for. Keep in mind that what you're searching for might be interesting to other community members and 'striked' post are hard to read.
* Requests for fics mentioning spoilers from the most recent episodes should go behind the cut. How long until the lj cut is no longer needed in this case? Let' make it one week. If the episode airs March 15, for example, any mention of it should go behind the cut until March 21.
* If your request describes something that is clearly NC-17 or R, please, put it under the cut. For example, a request asking for tortured!Dean, for example is okay to be without cut but if you want to add a detailed description, the description should go behind the cut.
