Here's roughly how it works each month:
  • Week one: Themed recs post (for everyone to add their own recs (but no self-recs)) – Jules makes these.

  • Week one/two: Book Club - organised by Sam.

  • Week two: Ask the Author – a different author each month will take part in a question and answer session. Organised by [info]maerhys.

  • Week three: Picture posts (picspam, meta, captioning, games, etc), hosted by [info]clex_monkie89, [info]lazy_daze, [info]sunshineclouds or [info]oxoniensis.

  • Week three: Chat post – [info]fleshflutter posts these, a different topic each month.

  • Week four: Themed recs post (again, for you to provide the recs) – these are run by Signe.

  • Week four/five: Workshop sessions - signups to write/host a session are here.

  • Week five: Ask the Artist/Vidder session – artists and vidders have their turn for a question and answer session. Jules organises this.

In addition we have four teams of reccers, who will rec fiction, art, vids, meta etc.
Two temporary reccers: they post weekly for an assigned month. Anyone may volunteer for this - Sam is taking sign-ups here.
Seven permanent reccers who post once a month ([info]__tiana__, [info]amy_star_, [info]callistosh65, [info]girl_wonder, [info]nativestar, [info]therealw and [info]vinylroad).
Ten guest reccers who randomly pop up with recs ([info]annalazarus, [info]destina, [info]hossgal, [info]littledrop, [info]marishna, [info]musesfool, [info]sockkpuppett, [info]sori1773, [info]stormcloude and [info]girlmostlikely).
The mods - we also rec on occasion.

We're keeping the rules simple, but the ones we have are important.
  • (1) While individual posters may have strong feelings for or against certain genres of Supernatural fanfic/art/vids, the community accepts them all, and isn't going to specially promote or denegrate any genre.

  • (2) No flaming. Discussion is encouraged, and we won't always agree with one another in discussion, but keep it courteous and wankfree.

  • (3) No self-recs.

  • (4) Please cut-tag long posts, or graphic excerpts/comments.
