This community is the home for the Supernatural Postcard Project (SPP) and Project: Urban Legend.
Posting is moderated. Posts must stay on topic, and must be related to one of the two campaigns. Questions or scans of your cards are more than welcome. Promoting another comm is not. Please don't post icons, fic, vids, anything like that; there are more than enough comms for that out there.
Current Project: Supernatural Postcard Project
If you're a fan of the television show Supernatural, airing on The CW on Thursday nights at 9:00EST, why not pick up a postcard and send it to the cast and crew in Vancouver -- to thank them for their very hard work on a show that we all adore?
This journal will be a central place for information related to the SPP, as well as a place where you can post scans or photos of the postcard you're sending. When you send your postcard, please comment here with "Sent", or something similar. If you need ideas of what to write, you can refer to the TCA interviews, which pretty much inspired this whole thing. Something that refers to what they said, that they feel isolated up there, that they work 15/16 hours a day, etc... Pretty much just something about how much we appreciate all their hard work on such an amazing show.

Past Project: Project: Urban Legend
Campaign name: Project Urban Legend
Target: Dawn Ostroff a.k.a. The CW Network
You know how an Urban Legend starts? Actually, no one does; it appears mysteriously as if out of thin air, and then it spreads; by word of mouth, by the internet, and even by mail. The more that people know about it, the better and more real it becomes. So why don't we spread a few of our own?
In an effort to show support for season 3 of Supernatural, we asked for volunteers to send The CW Network a postcard with an Urban Legend or Ghost Story native to their home town on them. At the bottom of this postcard, the following message:
"Without the Winchesters, who will hunt the demon/ghost/witch ?"
Let's keep this road trip going!
SUPERNATURAL SEASON 3
Once everyone sent their cards our volunteers sent to us the Urban Legend or Ghost Story that they wrote on the card, along with a scan of the card and their geographical location. All of this information was compiled into a book that was sent to Eric Kripke as a gift, to show him what we were doing to support the renewal of the show.
