Disturbing, extreme, different, creepy, off, strange, bloody, unsettling, horrific and – hot?
This is a fic posting, request, plot-bunny and archive community for any of those stories based on the television series Supernatural (or its stars, Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki) that many might consider going a bit beyond the “normal” boundaries of entertainment.
As “normal” is a relative term and hard to determine, there are no strict guidelines. The story does not have to be bloody, gory or stomach turning (though if it is, then yeah, POST IT). The “extreme” element could lie in the psychology of the characters, the mood of the piece, the way it makes the readers feel, and so forth. Or maybe the story simply supports a form of kink that isn’t often found. (Like your sex with weapons? Blood? A little strangulation before lunch? Cannibals? Killers? Dead Sam? Zombies? (everyone likes Zombies…)
There is nothing that would be considered too hardcore here, however/on the other hand, don’t worry about whether your story is “hardcore enough”. If you think the story is a little different or bound to raise a few eyebrows that’s good enough.
(Please note however, even though in many other corners of the world “incest” may fall into the taboo category, in these waters we just call that canon. There are quite a few wonderful SPN communities that can deliver that for you hourly. Incest is more than good here, but If incest is your only taboo there’s probably a better place to post it. However if the Winchesters or the J's get into something else a little more questionable as they are getting into each other, this is the place for you.)
This is primarily intended to be a sexually explicit site (though non-sexually expicit stories that still include other extreme elements are welcome too - especially if there are zombies). The idea of hardcore here is one of “okay that was fucked but…intriguing - andmaybealittlehot.” or anything that embraces SPN’s roots in the horror genre. Please specify all pairings and appropriate warnings. (We welcome and encourage anything you got, but some readers like to know what they are getting into.)(**It would also be quite wonderful if you self-tagged all pairings and themes, etc. for those looking for past posts with specific elements.)
Note: We have a canon that includes (but is in no way limited to):
Necromancy, blood-drinkers, supernatural and human cannibals, voodoo, dead brothers/loved ones lying around decaying on mattresses, people burning alive, sadistic, bored demons, hell dimensions, zombies, serial killers, knives, guns and axes, grave-digging/grave-robbing, evil little children, grandmothers that put people in pies, kidnapping, people kept in cages, hunting people, the potential anti-Christ, boys who have had to sew themselves up with needle and thread since age seven, digging bullets out of flesh, shape-shifters that tie people to sewer pipes, decapitation by barbed wire and killer chicken bones.
The world of Supernatural is one wonderfully disturbing place. Take advantage of it.
