AboutThe rules may seem picky, but they're not there to be difficult or "just because." We really want to create a fun and friendly community specifically focused to first time fics of the Dean/Sam and J2 pairings, and we want to keep fics ontopic and easy-to-find so that we can all enjoy and participate with a minimum of hassle. If you have any questions about the rules please contact our friendly mods.
1) General:
This is a Supernatural first time fic community. All posts should be either fic postings or recs where the main pairing is either Dean/Sam or Jensen/Jared's first time getting together, nothing involving them as an established couple. It's fine to post or rec fics where one of the characters starts out with a different person and ends up with the main pairing. (e.g., Sam/Jess --> Sam/Dean) but please state that clearly in your Pairing section on your posting.
2)Posting to the Comm:
While it looks like a lot of specific requirements, the main goal is that everyone coming here can easily find exactly what they'd like to read by having clear titles and tags on each posting. It also makes it easy for people to find your fic when that's the kind of thing they're looking for.
2A) Posting Fics
All posts should have a title with this format "Fic: Title -- Pairing -- Chap x/y-- Rating (optional)"
When posting fics, please make sure to include this information:
Title
Author
Pairing
Rating: use either G/PG/R/NC-17 or Children/Teens/Mature ONLY... if you aren't sure, then use the highest rating, just to be safe.
Spoiler/warnings NOTE: any fics with underage sex or non-con/rape MUST have the warning clearly marked on its own line (for absolute clarity NO abbreviations on warnings) and it must be the first warning posted. Thanks.
Spoiler warning should be specific about Season number and/or episode name as appropriate.
Summary
All fics must be proof-read and/or beta'd before being posted. Please respect our readers by making sure your story is ready before posting. Ideally, I'd like to have a set schedule of days for posting Recs. You can rec fics by topic depending on the day. Do not link to a friends-locked entry on another journal, or your posting will be rejected or deleted!
All rec posts should have a title with this format "REC: Pairing"
When posting fic recommendations, please make sure that you include this information:

Author
Pairing
Summary
Rating:
NOTE: any fics with underage sex or non-con/rape MUST have the warning clearly marked on its own line. Thanks.
If spoilers/warning are not included in the fic's original location, please include them here, just in case.
3) Tags:
We would love for people to use tags because i t will make it much easier for people to find the fics they are looking for. At the minimum, tag for characters: J2 or W2, rating, au. As the comm grows the choices for tags will be expanded.
4) Cuts:
ALL spoilers, long entries and adult content under a cut.
5) Credit:
Credit is a must if you're using content that isn't yours.
6) Adult Content:
Everything is welcome here, but keep in mind that there may be underage members. So please, all adult content under a cut or linked, with suitable warnings.
7) Spoilers:
I would like to keep this community as a spoiler-free zone. Please do not use comments or icons that are spoilers for any episodes that have not yet been aired in the United States. If fics contain spoilers for any episodes, of any season, please indicate that. We are always getting new people in our fandom and I'd like them to know if a story will ruin S2 for them if they read it before they've seen the episodes. If you don't indicate specific episodes, we will assme that "Spoilers for S2" means every episode. Thanks for respecting and observing this rule!
