| Twenty-two years ago, Sam (JARED PADALECKI) and Dean (JENSEN ACKLES) Winchester lost their mother to a mysterious and demonic supernatural force. As a result, their father, John (JEFFREY DEAN MORGAN), raised the brothers to be soldiers. He taught them about the paranormal evil that lives in the dark corners and on the back roads of America...and he taught them how to kill it. The second season closed with the brothers triumphantly slaying the demon that killed their mother, but their fight is far from over. Demons have escaped through the door to hell and it's up to them to find them and send them back where they belong. Not only that, but Dean Winchester only has one year to live, the agreement to the deal to bring his brother back from the dead. This coming season, the bar is raised and will be a wild ride.
