Welcome to [info]spirit_oasis, the community for [info]avatarnations where your creative writing juices can run free. Here you can post stories, poems, fanfic, etc. that you have written based on the Avatar series. However, to join you must first be sorted over at [info]avatarstate.

Before posting anything to this community you must read the rules. All entries must be posted in the proper format. Any entries that do not follow the guidelines will be deleted by a moderator.


1. Entries must be posted using the form at the bottom of the page.
2. All writing must be behind an lj-cut. It is in the form at the bottom, we expect you to use it. This prevents people's friend pages from filling up with giant stories that they may not want to read.
3. Use the title of your story as the subject for the lj-cut.
4. Avatar is a children's series, based on children. For that reason all entries here must be PG-13 or lower. Anything you wouldn't see on the show, we don't want to see here. Avatar is rated TV-Y7 here in the States. So anything you wouldn't want pre-teen to read... maybe you should post it somewhere else.

[info]cabbagemerchant - Cabbage Merchant is the community dedicated to earning points for your graphics. You must apply for access.
[info]ember_island - Ember Island is where we will be having national competitions. Competitions will be held to see who is the "strongest" nation. A new strongest nation is determined every 3 months. Do you have what it takes to help your nation succeed?
[info]spirit_oasis - The Spirit Oasis is where you can post anything you have written based on Avatar; poems, stories, etc. The rules are on the user info page. Please read them before posting anything.
[info]strongestnation - This community is designed for members to view the current standings of the "strongest" nation. You can also find tips & tricks here on what to do to help your nation win.
[info]whitelotustile - This is the community just for moderators - if you are chosen to be a moderator you may recieve access to this community, and can then use it to discuss with other mods your plans and ideas for the community.
