Fall 2008 Tour [07 Aug 2008|09:29am] eu_splinched I was just browsing PTV Records and found this little gem of a list: ( The Spinto Band Fall 2008 Tour Dates ) Frightened Rabbit are listed as one of the supports (linked). Keep an eye out for ticket sales, since these were the few I was able to find (so far). 1 slip by the pool. and it hurts.

LATE- different version, different Lyrics? [25 Apr 2008|12:00pm] chemicalbeats75 [ mood | busy ] [ music | Jeff Buckley ] Just curious... has anyone ever heard a different studio version of LATE? today, I got a promo SPINTO cd... and the version of LATE has the LYRICS... "trapped here inside.... .    universe...".... something like that.. I can't make it all out.....it's right around 2:20 I went to go listen to my reg cd..and it wasn't on there.....it has the guys singing or making noises in that part.. I have been into the band for sometime now...living in delaware..and then moving back to NY..and this was my first Spinto show....  a little bit short..cause they were opening for another band, but still. They put on a great show and loads of energy. Man, does Direct to Helmet kick ass at the end of the show...wow! Ok, here's so pictures I took tonight at the Bowery Ballroom, let me know what you think.   and a partial setlist... in no order..  I don't know all the names of the new ones...so I know I am missing them. I am not sure what, and I had some spinto music on in the backround. These shows are always a blast and Jp from Dios is even the guest taster this time as well! We will also be airing for the first time anywhere the bands studio version of their unreleased cover of "Airport". We also have another live set from the band that we will be airing that was recorded at Emo's in Austin,Texas that night back in March. There will also be an airing of Manu Chao's new single and the usual good tunes starting at Midnight tonight.
