AboutWe do not think that the term 'spinster' is demeaning or an insult. We take on the role with a sense of empowerment and pride knowing that we have eschewed the 'white picket fence' lifetrack that even in this modern society we as women are expected to follow. To remain true only to the path that we feel called to walk alone, is our declaration of independence against the status quo. We come together to support, praise and commisserate about our lives.
