Okay, so I've got this little A6 sketchbook and one night I just started doodling and ended up drawing the kissing scene from Khirsah's Bobby/Jean-Paul fic Fool which may just be my favourite fic in the history of ever.

Spoilers: For Queer as Folk up to S3 episode 3, from there it goes AU. X-men AU because I’m not dealing with secondary mutations. I would say this is after Jean-Paul joins the X-men, right around when Alex returns and post the disaster wedding. I want to dismiss the Draco arc. Poptopia doesn’t exist either. Jono went and became an X-man when invited. The Iceman Icons will be referenced. I don’t want to give it an issue number because I don’t want to get bogged down by the canon. It’s an AU.
Disclaimer: I own nothing to do with Queer as Folk or Marvel comics. Neither is my toy box, I’m merely playing.
Summary: AU X-men/Queer as Folk crossover. Michael comes out as a mutant to both Mel and Lindsey and then has to deal with the aftermath while Molly is finding out that she’s a mutant.
A/N: Please imagine that Michael referenced comics other than Marvel to Ben in S2 episode 6.

| Holy crap it's been like eight months since I posted a fic here. I am SO sorry, to whatever readers I may have left. Between writer's bloc, sucky equipment and work I haven't gotten much done in a while. Hope this helps make up for it, also hope I'm not rusty after so long.

| I don't know what I should do with this idea, so I'm putting it up for adoption.
I have decided that JP is a little farsighted. In nature, predatory birds (the ones that can fly the highest and fastest) general have difficulty seeing things close-up, because their eyes are designed to see things from far away. So Northstar and Aurora, who also travel at high altitudes and speeds, can see things from a far distance, but reading a newspaper or a book can give them a real migraine.

| | I guess if you're "into" something enough, you start seeing it everywhere. So, I was watching the new Star Trek movie (no spoilers, don't worry). And suddenly a few things occured to me. The actor playing Kirk bore a bit of a resemblance to the actor who played Bobby in the X-men movies. Then you got Spock, with his dark hair and pointy ears. I started to think that the two looked a bit like Bobby/JP. Hmmmm...Maybe somewhere there are some slashy icons with the two of them, that could be converted to Bobby/JP icons. | Hi, I've been away from the fandom for a while and missing it. I still haven't had the guts to try writing anything but I come baring a video once more and not a comic one.
My idea was quite simply to put Jean Paul into the movie verse. The plot is simply as follows:
Bobby saves a teenage mutant, Jean Paul, from being beaten up and brings him back to the mansion. Jean Paul becomes a student too and they get closer, eventually falling for one another, as Bobby's relationship with Rogue breaks down.
Casting Jean Paul was tough, in the end I chose Nicholas Hoult (Skins, About the Boy, Etc.)
The video isn't perfect but it's the first time I've down a video with characters who aren't in a show together. I hope you guys enjoy it.
