- SirStack has uploaded more Power Ranger episode scripts to the Hexagon script archives. New additions are primarily late-Lost Galaxy based, including the teamup and subsequent episodes. For people who have always been interested to see how the series would have played out had Cassie come on as Galaxy Pink as originally planned, you might want to check this out.

So, Imeem was a YouTube-like streaming site that's going to be shutting down as of June 30th. This has brought up some discussions in other fandoms on alternatives that would be fan-friendly. As far as I know, we haven't had any PR vidders on Imeem, but I do know that some vidders have had problems with YouTube auto-muting the audio tracks of some vids. So, I'm linking you guys to a couple of posts that are weighing some of the pros and cons of BAM and Blip.

Because most of you don't understand German

News
Due to news we previously mentioned that got hit with problems, we felt it necessary to do a quick mini-report as an update.

- Yesterday, we reported that the German boxset of Lost Galaxy was due to be released today. Well, that did indeed happen, and the price is still €31.99/$44.77. The downside is that what we were worried about came to pass: the boxset doesn't have the second English voicetrack the last six seasons did. MarioRanger at Rangerboard reports that this is due to unexplained problems on Disney's side. Unfortunately, it might be a tad too late to cancel your order if any of you had already put cash down for this; it's a shame this news only came to light in the last day or so. It's probably safe to assume English voicetracks on any future DVD collections may also be in jeopardy, though due to most seasons from Lightspeed Rescue onward having already received German volumed releases, nobody has any idea if there will be more boxsets anyways.

Merchandise
- R.P.M. volume 2 is set to go on sale September 8 for $19.99 ($13.99 at Amazon.com). A list of episodes has yet to be provided, but judging by the 115 minute airtime, it will probably be episodes 6-10.
- The German boxset of Lost Galaxy is still due to be released tomorrow for €31.99/$44.77. However, of special note is that Amazon's page for it is not reporting that it will have English voicetracks as the last six season releases did. This could simply be a clerical error, but either way, we'll keep you posted.
- The UK releases of Jungle Fury volumes 3 and 4 are already available, while volume 5 is also to be released tomorrow; all three are priced at £8.99/$14.32.

As you can see, we have episode summaries listed again. It wasn't until about a month or two ago that these started appearing for R.P.M. (they've been around for Dragon Knight for some time), and they weren't coming from the usual people we get our episode titles from, so we were hesitant to accept them as truth. JF V3 is available now, while V4 comes out June 1. V5 and Lost Galaxy are both scheduled to release on June 15, but considering previous delays with the German boxsets, that date may not remain intact.

Keeping You Updated... Even When We Have No Idea What's Going On

News
- The Power Rangers Ending rumor begins shifting in conflicting directions as more news appears. The New York Post and an on-air segment from Fox News both make note of the same information the New Zealand Herald previously dropped. Meanwhile, a Bandai PR representitive has been sending out e-mails to a range of parties, including the industry site Action Figure Insider, owner of the HJU forums Keith Justice, and several other big name fans in the PR fandom. The message from the Bandai rep explains that Disney is producing an 18th season and that Bandai will continue to create toys based on the franchise. This obviously brings up a lot of questions, however. Was the rumor false from the start, despite the claims of Cheryl Saban and Eddie Guzelian? Were the rumors true, but Disney changed their minds? If they did, why? Fandom/industry response? Pressure from Toei to continue adapting footage for quick cash? Was the rumor true, but the Bandai side of it misinformed? Are toys being produced without a season to air alongside? Were both sides of the rumor correct, with the other rumors from a year ago of production moving from New Zealand to, say, Canada the case here? How will all of this affect the potential adaptation of the oozing-with-Japanese '09 season of Super Sentai to a '10 season of PR? Clearly it's all still up in the air, and will be for some time to come.
- The previous petition to send Adelaide Kane (R.P.M.'s Tenaya 7) to attend the San Diego Comic Con has been upgraded to send the entire cast (or as many of them as are interested) for an official panel. Adelaide herself has begun posting at various forums to help dredge up support. More information can be found here if you're interested.
- SirStack has added more early season scripts to the Hexagon Script Archives, this time getting including the first few episodes of Turbo, as well as the associated movie. Said movie experienced some very interesting changes between its third draft and what appeared on the big screen. More information can be found here.

As of now, we will only feature 'Kamen Rider Dragon Knight' news (when it happens), the next airing episode, and any discussion threads for it (which, as you can see, aren't that many.). Should the Dragon Knight fandom grow and become more active, we will be pulling the information here and I, personally instead of just blackmailing the other three into doing two newsletters, will start up a new comm for it. We will provide a link for those interested, should that happen.

News
- The several year old rumor of Power Rangers ending for good is kicking into high gear as more and more behind-the-scenes information regarding the drama of R.P.M.'s filming comes to light. Most of this resurgence is a result of a fan getting in contact with Cheryl Saban, as well as Eddie Guzelian, the executive producer for the first half of the series, posting info and his thoughts over at the SPRC forums. For those who aren't registered at SPRC, his posts are being copied at this Rangerboard thread as well.
- Speaking of R.P.M., the premiere begins this Saturday at 12pm on ABC. Local affiliates may pre-empt this; check your local listings. Such an example is KABC in Los Angeles, which will air episode 2 at 3:30pm following basketball pre-emptions, but episode 1 is nowhere to be seen on their schedule. Promos are available online: a 3:50 one released to the fandom about two weeks ago, and two smaller ones that are airing on ABC.
- More cast information about the season is dropping as well. In addition to the five Ranger actors identified by the 3:50 promo, fandom rumors have provided the identity of our inevitable sixth as well. Said information can be found in the first post of this thread. Obviously, there are spoilers here.
- Matt Austin's fandom documentary, Mor-fan-ominal, has experienced ups and downs behind the scenes, primarily due to Matt's recent baby daughter and having little money to spare for an extensive production. In the meantime, he's cut interview footage solely from Power Morphicon down to a quick 9 minute video to whet our appetites. The mini-documentary is available on Youtube.
- SirStack has added more early season scripts to the Hexagon Script Archives, this time getting near Zeo's end. More information can be found here.

- The Power Rangers In Space German boxset (with English voicetracks included) has been pushed back from a February 27 release to April 3. The price remains the same at €31,99 ($41.56).
- The Bandai-made Power Rangers card game has been reported to not have sold well enough to meet expectations. While Bandai is not discontinuing the line, retailers are no longer stocking it, so plans to release the second wave of cards have been put on perpetual hold.
- If for some reason you're absolutely filthy stinking rich, you may be interested in the auctions of various items from Michael Jackson's Neverland Ranch scheduled for April 24, as one of the items being sold is a lifesize replica of the Red Wild Force Ranger for $400 to 600. An image can be seen here on page 81.
