So, I was talking to sexybutler and we've decided that the best thing that Space Prison can do for Amecon would be to make a large scale group of SPartan cosplayers and claim the convention for SParta itself.

It's funny how these things arise in conversation.

So really, we're looking for more participants. In reality, sexybutler and I are totally badass enough to do this alone, but more spartans means more fun and photos. All we ask is that you:

1) Dress accordingly! : There were no SPartans named Cloud, Squall or Naruto. I'm sorry. they were all called Leonidas or Sparticus. Wear stuff that looks proper!

2) Actually be signed up to Amecon : Yeah, that'd be handy. sexybutler and I have no problems kicking the ass of any gatecrashers because as we all know, Spartans were not cheap and paid to attend the great wars or something...

3) Don't be a retard : If you throw a brick, I'll throw you. Into a meat grinder. Then I'll paint you with wasp pheromone and then you'll be dead. No one wants that to happen, do they? But seriously, this is for fun, don't go ruining a con for anyone else. I hear the Amecon Committee have a ceiling fan covered in razor blades just for uppercutting people who faff about at cons into. That would really be painful.

Aight butlers, here's the skinny for the Glasgow new Years party.

1. This party is invite only! - after Auchi and Xmas, our funds are damned low. I'll be putting out email invites tomorrow night. If yer not on the list, ye ain't getting in. Thems the breaks
2. Bring some damned booze this time you cheap fucks - Last year, alcohol contributed to 55% of our costs. Bring your own, you tight gits :p
3. All entertainment is welcome! - As usual, we'll have games on the projector. Sweet. Could do with some music... Robei, looking at you.
4. Location - Again, 'tis in glasgow, in the old office. People sleeping on floors and this year the heating works! Yay! No frostbite!
5. Food - Yeah, I'll be cooking again. Indoor ROFFLEBBQ for the win. Hopefully Kenny will stop being lazy and asian and make some food too.

Anything else, comment and I'll reply toot suite.

Ok, just tallied up the money box.

Our costs for the Convention was: £513.80
Our taking from the convention was: £522.23

We still have £180 worth of stock that will be going on Ebay.
This includes the remaining 6 Glasgow Hats witht he Auchi logo on them.

Overall evaluation: Success!

Hello all,

I am sorry to say that the Auchinawa convention has undergone a change of name.

It shall now be called "FearCon '06" and will be moved to the impressive venue of the pizza hut round the corner from central station.

Some of the action will also be moved to Ichiban and Loon Fung.
Bring your grubbing hats and a cardboard box.

Again, my apologies for this heartbreaking news.

New comic is up.

Computer is fixed, so expect more.

Gasp! All the comics are gone from the LJ! Egads!

But not to worry, we just "moved them". They are all now on a dedicated (albeit VERY basic) comic page now up on Space Prison.

If you click here, you can see the comics. They are on a day by day schedule, so you'll be reading the old ones until Tuesday. Blame me for that ^^;

Anyway, all new comics will go up on that site from now on, so you're lj pages won't get spammed with lj cuts promoting comics that you didn't think were really that great in the first place. *cough*

Also, if anyone thinks they can jazz the comics page up, please please please get in contact with me. I can't, for the life of me, figure out template files in the php code we're using (iStrip)
