| Just to remind everyone that it's Resurgence in Portsmouth next Sunday (25th) - which is the day before a bank holiday, so no work in the morning for most people.
Apart from that, the same as ever - various flavours of goth and industrial, 8pm-12 midnight at Scandals, Hampshire Terrace, Portsmouth, £3 entry. And there may be cake as it's the 11th birthday!

It's the usual music (Goth, electro-industrial, goth, 80s stuff, more goth) and the usual venue (Scandals, Hampshire Terrace, Portsmouth). However the time is slightly different - it starts at 8pm and finishes at midnight, and entry is £3. There may also be cake (er, I better sort that last one out, actually...)

Fancy being on the radio?
Every Sunday I co-present RANT on the radio, on Express FM 93.7, based behind The Hampshire Boulevard pub in Portsmouth
Each week we interview a local band from in and around Portsmouth, play a song or two of their recordings and give them a chance to play on air
We can also record the show for you and send you a copy so that you can use it as a live session on your site/myspace etc
Sound good? Give us a shout! We want to start up a rota asap so that we know who's playing when. We currently need bands on air as of Sunday 20th August (2 weeks time)
Send me a message if you're interested, or know of others that may be...basically spread the word!
So far we've had bands such as AreaCode and Lunar Cry LIVE on air.

So for my 2 cents; If you dont bring ID, then PLEASE dont go bitching to any of us, it's not our fault if you dont bring id, there's been warnings for many weeks now, the door staff dont answer to SSRs, they answer to the council, so we can do bugger all about it, m'kay? (ps, VALID, photo id only, nothing out of date.)

Non IndigenouS are in the regional Final of Emergenza's Battle Of The Bands.
Tickets are £7 in advance from the band or £9 on the door if available.
Doors open at about 5pm (TBC from wedgewood rooms nearer the time)they are on at 7.30.
