Aboutthis is a community for LJ users who live or visit frequently south of Boston, Massachusetts. discuss local events, post opinions, poetry, writing, art, things besides art, et cetera. users of all ages, genders, and creeds are welcome to join.
1. post on topic, please. On topic is a very variable thing here, so basically you can post just about anything you'd like as long as something to do with the South Shore Communities of Massachusetts. Please, no links to rating communities or anything equally lame. you can, however, inquire about whatever you want as long as it's local, i.e., "where can I buy polka-dotted bloomers on the South Shore?", or "where in Duxbury can I get my colon cleaned out?". okay, maybe not that second one.
2. please lj-cut posts with images over 500px in width. not only is it common courtesy, it'll mess up the layout on someone's friends page. and you most certainly do not want to be responsible for that.
3. please be kind to your fellow community members. anyone is allowed to join. drama will not be tolerated here.
