Bleach Timeline of Epic Proportions
Hey everyone. So, while working on this massive fic, I realized that I needed a timeline of events in the Bleach world. A couple of Google searches later, I realized that there wasn't one on the web that I liked. So I figured I'd make one and share it. Here's a fairly detailed, clearly presented Bleach timeline, starting from Rukia's kidnapping, as per events in the manga.

[ETA] I've added in the last forty chapters of the manga as well, so this timeline is current as of chapter 287.

Notes:

• I've tried to keep the table as consistent as possible. For dates that there aren't specific days stated, I've made educated guesses.
  
• I've also tried to keep fights listed consistently as Winner vs Loser.
  
• Dates followed by an (SS) reflect the timeskip.
  
• I also tried to keep this table as 'ship neutral as possible, mentioning only so-called moments that get at least a handful of panels.
  
• I will admit that I gloss over some plot elements, but it's two-thirty in the morning as I post this, and I am tired.

Ichigo, Renji incapacitated by Aizen, who then goes on to tell them every aspect of his brilliant plan. (Naturally.) Aizen extracts the Hougyouku from Rukia Aizen orders Gin to kill Rukia, but Byakuya intervenes, saving her life Isane connects all the non-treacherous captains, tells them the full story. This is what interrupts several battles and, later, convenes the might of Soul Society on the Soukyouku Hill once more. Soi Fong and Yoruichi restrain Aizen Kuukaku/Jidanbou vs. Hikonyuutou/Danzoumaru/Kaiwan Despite being being surrounded by nearly all the captains, vice captains, the special forces squad, the ryoka, and a handful of Soul Society outcasts, the three use the Menos Grande "negation" to escape into the Hueco Mundo Unohana and Orihime set to healing everyone Byakuya explains several things to Rukia, including why he adopted her, why he didn't fight for her life, and why he saved her in the end Unohana and Isane bond. (Another random scene that effectively ends the arc.)
August 13 (SS)	Ishida makes the group new clothes to wear back into the real world. Ichigo and Orihime look for Rukia Renji and Byakuya have a meaningful conversation that Ichigo interrupts Shuuhei, Hitsugaya, Kira, and Rangiku get drunk. Really drunk. Rukia apologizes to the Shiba family. Rukia tells Ichigo she's staying in Soul Society. He's okay with that.
August 14 (SS)	Karakura-gumi return home Ukitake gives Ichigo the substitute shinigami badge
August 21* (?)	Urahara catches the crew as they fall out of the sky. Urahara apologizes to Ichigo Everyone returns home (Ishida, Orihime, Chad, and finally Ichigo, who walks from the river.) Ichigo punches out Kon from his body with the badge Isshin attacks with a hearty "Good morning!" cry.
September 1	School starts again. (Second half of first semester.) Captains' meeting (SS). Shinji appears.
September 2	Ishida Ryuuken revealed to be a Quincy master, saves Ishida from a low-level Arrancar Ryuuken offers Uryuu his powers back, with the promise of never involving himself with the shinigami again. Isshin gets powers back as rudimentary Arrancar attack Karakura. Urahara appears and dishes the deus ex machina requirement. Shinji tries to recruit Ichigo to the Vaizards.
September 3	Ichigo takes Hirako outside for a "little chat"; Tatsuki sees this from a distance. Hirako meets up with Hiyori who expresses displeasure with the proceedings. Chad and Orihime meet Hirako and Hiyori; they do the threat-down dance. Ichigo has his one emo moment of the series. (Also, nice shot of his hands clenching his sheets here.) Karin interrupts Ichigo before he can apply the eyeliner, reveals her knowledge of Ichigo's alter ego Ulquiorra attacks Karakura, along with Yami (10th). Chad and Orihime are hurt in the proceedings. Ishida asks his father for his powers back, making the promise to stay out of shinigami business
September 7	Rukia, Hitsugaya, Renji, Rangiku, Ikkaku, and Yumichika join Ichigo's school. Rukia hauls Ichigo away, makes him face a low-level hollow, his own inner demon Rukia makes Ichigo apologize to Orihime Orihime reveals her insecurities to Rangiku, who is staying with her. (As is Hitsugaya. Sort of.) Grimmjow and co. attack. Ishida trains with his father Grimmjow vs. Ichigo (I) Grimmjow fetched back by Tousen, loses arm and espada rank.
September 8	Ichigo speaks with the Vaizards Chad asks Urahara for training Chad, Ichigo, and Ishida take leave from school Vaizards test Ichigo's Hollow strength, Hiyori is nearly decapitated. Renji is roped into helping train Chad.
September 9	Ichigo destroys Hiyori's walker, insists his reiastsu can go for five days at least. Vaizards (Shinji) force confrontation between Ichigo and his Hollow. (Kisaroku?) Ichigo wins, but barely; renews his fighting spirit. Hollow swears he'll take over one day. Rangiku and Hitsugaya install and giant TV in Orihime's apartment Yamamoto-Genryuusai reveals that Aizen is after the Royal Key Orihime runs off to tell Ichigo, War is in four months - January of next year / Winter. Hinamori speaks with Hitsugaya, begging him to be kind to Aizen-sama. Her neurosis is still pretty severe, though her injuries have healed for the most part. Ichigo works on maintaining his Hollow mask (4 seconds) Ishida regains his powers Inoue is taken to the underground room by Yoruichi. Urahara tells her she is to be kept out of battle, and will not fight. Aizen is watching. (Dun dun dun.) Rukia and Inoue talk on a roof. (The school roof?) Orihime is kidnapped by Hiyori. Hachi talks with Orihime, heals Tsubaki. We learn that (1) Orihime's clips are like zankupatoh (2) Her powers resemble a Hollow / that of the Vaizaard, and (3) Her powers are based on her desires. Rukia begins training Orihime in the field behind the 13th Division barracks.
October 9	Aizen summons Ulquiorra, Yami Shinji mentions that in the past month, Ichigo is still only able to hold the mask for ten seconds. Aizen creates Wanderweiss Maljena, who had captain-level reiatsu. Ulquiorra and co. go to the living world to wreak havoc Ulquiorra corners Orihime in the waste dimension Grimmjow vs. Ichigo (II); fight interrupted by Rukia; Grimmjow vs. Rukia; fight interrupted by Shinji; Grimmjow vs Shinji. Ulquiorra offers Orihime a deal, which she accepts; her friends' lives for her cooperation. The espada retreat. Hachi heals Ichigo, Rukia takes him back to the Kurosaki Clinic to recuperate. Yuzu and Karin eat dinner in Ichigo's room, fall asleep on the floor beside his bed. Orihime comes in, confesses her love for Ichigo but cannot bring herself to kiss him. Instead, she heals him and goes quietly with Ulquiorra.
October 10	Ichigo wakes up and falls out of bed. Group gathers in Orihime's apartment; Ichigo and Rukia share an awkward moment. Ukitake breaks the news to them: Orihime is missing. Yamamoto tells them that Orihime is most likely alive, and that this means she has betrayed them all. Group refuses to stand idly by. Zaraki and Byakuya take everyone back to Soul Society, with only Ichigo remaining. Rukia tells him she's sorry before the doors close. Inoue is forced to heal Grimmjow's arm, and Aizen gives us a greater understanding of her powers, and what it is that they do. Aizen calls her a God.
October 11	Ichigo goes to school. Ichigo promises Mizuiro and Keigo that he will go to a premiere with them on December 5. Tatsuki confronts him about Orihime's disappearance. Ichigo denies any involvement. Tatsuki insists he does, mentions his shinigami activities. She tells him she is his companion ("nakama") and begs him to tell her anything and everything. Ichigo coldly tells her to mind her own business. Tatsuki punches Ichigo through a window, which catches the attention of everyone around them, Keigo and Mizuiro included. Ichigo effectively cuts ties with all his friends, telling Keigo and Mizuiro to watch over Tatsuki for him. Ichigo, Chad, and Ishida make for the Hueco Mundo. Meanwhile, Isshin and Ryuuken trade barbs about their parenting skills, their powers, and their children. Tatsuki, Mizuiro, and Keigo witness the departure of Chad, Ichigo, and Ishida in Urahara's shop. After the gate closes, Urahara hints that he's now going to train Tatsuki, Mizuiro, and Keigo.
October 12 (?) - I'm calling it around midnight in the real world when they arrive, just to keep the table cleaner.	The boys arrive in Hueco Mundo. Chad, Ichigo, and Ishida get trapped in a large room Chad/Ishida vs. Demoura/Other Guy Escape the holding cell, enter Hueco Mundo proper Meet Nell and co. (The Great Desert Bros.) Aizen and the Ten Espadas have a meeting; the latter are warned not to take the intruders lightly. Everyone vs Lunaganga The group runs into Renji and Rukia, who have come with the unofficial support of Soul Society. Inoue is given new clothes and the news of her friends' rescue mission by Ulquiorra. Renji and Ichigo break the protective walls around Las Noches. Nell and her brothers are asked to stay behind. The group comes across a five-way split. Luckily, there's five of them (plot device much?) so Rukia suggests each of them take a different path. Ichigo does not like this idea, but both Renji and Rukia make him understand that she is as much a warrior as the others, and that Ichigo doesn't have to protect her. The group promises to have their hearts be one even if they are split physically. (It's actually a moving speech by Renji.) Aizen shows Inoue the hougyouku, and Inoue resolves to destroy it. Nell and her brothers split up and follow different people. (Nell is with Ichigo, Pesshe is with Ishida, and Dondo-chakka is with Renji.) Ichigo vs. Doldorni Ishida vs. Chiruuchi (Circe?) Chad vs. Gantiban Mosutada Chad is taken down by Nnoitra (5th). One hit K.O., too. Orihime slaps Ulquiorra Rukia meets up with Aaroniro Aluluerie (9th) Rukia vs. Aaroniro; she manages to beat him despite him looking like Shiba Kaien, but takes a major wound to her chest before stabbing him between the "eyes" with and unsealed Shirayuki. Promptly after the fight, she collapses and her zankupatoh recedes, indicating that she has lost all her reiatsu. Renji vs. Szayel Apollo Grantz (8th); fight is interrupted by Ishida - Ishida/Renji vs Szayel Apollo Grantz; fight is again interrupted as both sides repose briefly to change clothes and/or come up with a plan. Ishida and Renji try to escape, but find themselves in a space-loop, unable to escape. (So much for the brilliant plan of "Run away!" It didn't work in Monty Python either, guys.) The others all react to Rukia's reiatsu disappearance, just as Ichigo reacted to Chad's. Ulquiorra Schiffer (4th) vs. Ichigo; stabs him through the chest with his hand and leaves him for dead. Grimmjow snatches Orihime and orders her to heal Ichigo. Grimmjow vs. Ulquiorra; the former uses a "caja de negación," or "negation box" to hold Ulquiorra in a separate dimension for a few hours. Ichigo asks Orihime to heal Grimmjow, too. Ichigo vs. Grimmjow; Orihime and Nell are told to run but, instead, watch the fight from an outcropping. Halibel (rank unknown) and two subordinates watch the fight between Ichigo and Grimmjow. Nnoitra (5th) vs. Ichigo

* (?) = Note: Because the time-space vortex took the group a week back in time when they went to Soul Society, I'm assuming that the opposite happens when they return, and they lose a week on the journey back. Sort of like international travel; going from New York to Japan, you lose a day, coming from Japan to New York, you gain a day. Also, in chapter 183, Tatsuki says she had heard that Ichigo had returned early, but she hadn't been able to find him. This implies that he had left at some point and returned later on. Also, Kon mentions going peeping and doing other illegal activities as Ichigo, meaning some measure of time passed between his departure and his return. The only question then, is, when did Kon get into Ichigo's body, and how long had "Ichigo" been back before the actual Ichigo returned. Also, in my very Asian opinion, the group had to return in time to do their summer homework. Returning around the twentieth of August gives them enough time to do their homework, but late enough that they've clearly been out of town for a while.

This table is probably somewhere in the ballpark of a day or two off, and I didn't check the days of the week for plausibility. I did, however, comb through 200 chapters or so of manga to get a fair representation of dates.
