Drama CD Summary
I ordered the Bleach DVD with the drama CD from Amazon JP and it arrived in a day. I just listened to it now. It's from the middle of the soul society arch, around after Aizen died.


If you want a more detailed summary, please read manga-rain translations for the finer points, I don't want to type them all out again.

Track 1: Rukia wondering how long she's been in the tower, and how everyone else is doing. (but even if she knew, what can she possibly do...)

Track 2: Yoruichi just rescued Ichigo from Byakuya from the bridge, and is telling him about the Bankai and learning it in 3 days, then Ichigo is like "Yeah, let's try it!" Interesting note, Yoruichi's voice is definitely a girl's in this CD. Maybe a cat's vocal cords are hard to talk out of.

Track 3: Hinamori is refusing food from someone who brought her a meal in prison, telling him not to bring any more food. Then she recounts the letter she read from Aizen.

Track 4: Matsumoto's flashback about meeting Gin.

Track 5: Matsumoto wakes up in the office, Hitsugaya is working, she's asking about why he's in her room, etc. It ends with a shinigami telling how the 3 escaped from prison.

Track 6: They're at the prison now, the guard is telling about how the 3 have escaped. Ends with Hitsugaya telling Matsumoto to go back and that he'll protect Hinamori. Hinamori is running away "Aizen taicho, you were killed by him!"

Track 7: Hitsugaya face off with Ichimaru, Hinamori showed up and faces off Hitsugaya, accusing him of killing Aizen. Aizen voice over about the execution ground and it is Hitsugaya that's behind the conspiracy, etc. Ends with Hinamori attacking Hitsugaya, and Hitsugaya being angsty.

Track 8: Hinamori & Hitsugaya flashback. Now the next part is interesting. I don't ever remember reading it in the manga. It starts off with some seniors in the academy bullying Hitsugaya... Hinamori tries to stop it, and Isuzu (sp?) is in there somewhere, but then they try to pick on Hinamori instead. Hitsugaya kicks some bully ass, then fast forward to Hitsugaya winning every single bout, and people talking about how he's a first year already in the 13th divisions before even graduating, and not wanting to fight him. Then learning his sword's name. Angsty Hitsugaya whining about protecting something, so he wants to know the name of his sword, and the name of the sword comes to him. Hinamori was watching, and then switches from calling him from Shiro-chan to Hitsugaya-kun. Hitsugaya complains how Hinamori's alway's trying to protect someone else other than herself.

Track 9: Flash back over. Hitsugaya vs Hinamori, read the translations (though I'm not quite sure where its translated to, I haven't kept with them) Hitsugaya - "I told you, Gin, if you made Hinamori bleed, I'll KILL YOU!" etc... Izusu is a useless backdrop. Hitsugaya and his awesome water ice dragon. Gin attacks Hinamori. Matsumoto jumps in to save Hinamori from Gin.

Track 10: Hitsugaya thanks Matsumoto for saving Hinamori. Matsumoto complains about being left behind by Gin (not being told about what he intends to do). Hitsugaya theorizing.

Track 11: Another new section I've never seen in the manga. I must say, Captain of the 8th division, Shunsui Kyouraku has a flaming voice and I love him already. He's drinking in a corridor, when Byakuya walks in on him. Shunsui tries to engage him in conversation, this corridor has a real good view of the moon, and then on how he really feels about his sister being executed. (this is shortened, I don't wanna type it all) Byakuya walks away, Shunsui goes back to drinking and admiring the moon.

Track 12: Ichigo is trying to gain the bankai, fighting with Zangetsu. Yoruichi talking. Renji shows up and talks about how Ichigo's hiding away to train for Bankai, and its so interesting, he'll do it too. Renji tells Ichigo how Rukia's execution is moved forward. Read translations for more details. Everyone's moving to do something now.

Track 13: Back to Rukia. Almost same as the first track.
