So today I made it through the hedge maze (damn puzzle-stealing topiary golems) and beat the various tower monsters. And I'm thinking... now what? I guess I've seen every area in the game now.

Those of you who've made it this far: what did you do next? Go for trophies? Play the mall? Work on Fernswarthy's basement? I'm not sure what to do with myself now that I have no clear goals other than leveling up a bit (I'm still only level 13) and maybe trying to make some meat with my store.

I've started collecting chaos butterflies in the meantime, for no particular reason. I just think they're neat!

I collected the trophies (all but two, I think), and then I got bored and stopped playing. Now I'm waiting for Crimbo. :)

How did Crimbo work last year? I'm not exactly sure what it is beyond something involving funky clothes.

From what I gather, everyone received a Crimbo Pressie, which produces wrapping paper, which can be made into Crimbo Duds etc. I want one because I'm too lazy/poor to buy that stuff from the Mall.

Yeah, work on the trophies, some take a while to get. The mall and the basement are also good places to spend your time. Work on bringing up your lower stats to be even with your main stat, then give PvP a try, there's one trophy that you just can't get without PvPing.

Finding a unique item to collect can be fun. Be sure to show off your collection in your store (most people put the price of their collectible items at the max.). You could also try to get every possible (non Mr. A) item in the game w/o resorting to the mall.

I don't think I want to do PvP... it just doesn't appeal to me at all. Sniff... no toast trophy for me.

I've already got my chaos butterfly collection on display in my store! It's pathetically small at the moment, though, but I'll work on it hehe. :)

get to the point you can one hit stuff in the hole in the sky at least. Higher the better because you want to farm the factory, not have to worry about recovering every few adventures.

Yeah, this happens to everyone once they finish the tower. There's like this big build-up, then nothing.

I suggest you do something creative outside the game. Art, music, programming, whatever. We'll be busy again once Ascension rolls around.

Personally, I'm working on my primary stat so I can level up as fast as I can. This will be easier once I can repair my hippy stone. But yeah, I've got all the trophies but one, have collected every familiar in the game (including ghost pickle and every familiar offered so far by Mr. Store), and am currently collecting ratguts because I am a nerd. Basically just hanging around to finish the Sorceress off and do Ascension. :)

My main character finished the lair (well, you know, what's available) and I got every free familiar I could, most of the trophies (I'm working on the 300lb load and the big boat), most of the tattoos, and I have reached the highest title for my class. On a whim, I cleared out -almost- everything from my inventory by either selling it or stashing it away for keeps (closet). I kept very few things in my inv., like the Talisman o'Nam, the car, the intergalactic boatythingy... I'm still having fun. More fun than I had when I lost over 50mil by acquiring a shitload of 334 scrolls JUST before the incredible price drop. >=/

I was lucky enough to have made about 50 million in a good investment, so I had enough cash to do some stuff. For example, I bought myself all the familiars. You can go and find all but a very small few of them. Maybe you should do that. Try to get all the familiars you can, then level them all up to 20 in the arena.

Try for trophies, too. They're fun.

Fernswarthy's Basement is a worthy challenge, too. Do that as far as you can, then beef up more in the gym to go farther. That's what I've been doing the last few months.

Also, go to chat. Hang around in the Games channel, you can probably win some meat from trivia

I think I've got all the familiars that aren't rare or from Mr Store. I might go for the 300 pound trophy - there's a lot of them that I haven't been using much.

I hang out in the games channel quite a bit! That's how I made a bit of meat when I was a poor-ass newbie. Fun stuff.

im lvl 33 and i still love the game
get into a good clan
chat and make friends
collect things and do trophies
other than that pvp
which i will try after crimbo maybe
i need me toast trophy anyway

(a) Fernswarthy's and upping my stats to get into more rooms
(b) malling, but am taking a break on that due to market crash and just collecting stuff for the Bounty Hunter.
(c) Shore trophy
(d) Herb brownie trophy

Mostly I'm just farming around for brownie mix these days when I have time to play, and stats/Shore when I don't.

I've just been levelling and indulging in an idiotic amount of philanthropy ^^ Also started a clan with a friend and started the whole clan warfare thing, so that takes up a bit of time.

I'm in the same situation... I've been battling in the Hole in the Sky for a few days now waiting for new content to be added... I've been working on trophies though, so I guess I'll just continue with that.

Get all the trophies, all the familiars, all the tattoos...

Might want to work on an Ascension kit, too. At a guess, I'd say ascention will be in by the end of February, or March at the latest. If you store up some good food/booze/equipment now, your next go-round could be much easier.
