No idea if anyone will actually see this, but it couldn't hurt to post . . .
Hi, I'm kandi (under the username "kandiii" because "kandi" was taken; I've also made a few posts here a few years ago under my old LJ username "xrebelsheep", though that's not really relevant).
Anyway, I've written a rather long rant about Sorato at the bottom of this page under the username "thejippy" (direct link to my comment is here). Sorry that it's not 100% articulate, though; it took a long time to type up and by the end I was too tired to properly edit it. ^^;
But the real reason for this post was just to share two videos! Which is also shared in that "rant". This is a public entry because I don't mind people from other fandoms or ships downloading them. Actually, I encourage the downloading of the first file in particular (because, unlike the English dub, it's devoid of Taiora propaganda).

The Premise
After the Chosen Children managed to restore peace to the Digital World, everything returned to normal. The Digimon population regulated itself naturally, and tranquility returned to the land.
Or so one would think.
Now, Lillithmon and her S.Incorporation are taking things into their own hands to smash the peace and plan a Digimon invasion of both worlds.
Further Explanation
DigiWorld is currently under new management, but everything that has happened so far will stay the same. Digimon have been sighted in the real world by the Chosen Children. The gate between the Digital World and the real world has been malfunctioning - Koushirou deduced that it is acting in a selectively permeable way, allowing Digimon to be transported through without their knowledge, but preventing humans from doing the same. Daisuke and Iori have been reunited with their Digimon under puzzling circumstances and the rest are wondering if their partners will appear in the near future. And behind the scenes, a new group of villains is beginning to brew up trouble. Are all these events connected? Only time will tell.
Once we have everyone, we will continue with the plot. In terms of retconning the year we missed, we are continuing just as we were, assuming it is the same year, and recognizing seasonal changes starting in September. Nothing too tricky!

I've decided to expand my Sora and Yamato article a little more and detail a bit more on their compatibility and development! Also, I found a couple of pages detailing the compatibility of Sora and Yamato, and I believe they might be of some interest to this community!
Last, I made a Sorato adoption! You're free to adopt it for your own homepage or userinfo; just don't direct-link and link back to the site. I plan on making an Adventure version of this pairing, though I don't know what to animate. Suggestions are appreciated

Long time lurker first time posting.
Hi! I am in need of your guys help. I am a huge Sorato fan and always have been. Way back when (during the first airing of Digimon) there was this Sorato comic that someone was drawing. It was on her website and it wasn’t finished when I stop reading it. I was wondering if anyone has a link to that comic or even know what I am talking about. From what I remember it was a rather long comic and I remember a scene of Sora on the beach. The author was drawing it herself and ya… hopefully someone knows what I am talking about.

I couldn't find a good AMV of these two, so decided to make my own. I was actually going to use Boulevard of Broken Dreams, but as I was looking over what episodes I might need, I realized that Jou features heavily in at least three of them, and would fit beautifully into the video itself. Plus Yamajoura is my OT3... So the Sorato video gets Daniel Bedingfield's Gotta Get Through This, which I actually intended to use for a video about Gohan and Videl from Dragonball Z... but that's not important.
I tried to parallel the two of them a lot... In my opinion, one of the reasons they 'fit' together is because they're very similar in experiences and... not attitudes (Yamato's a jerk, Sora is not XD), but the way they deal with people. Taichi's very CHASE them, MAKE them okay, while Sora and Yamato respect each other's space a bit more. (Okay, Yamato chased her, too, but he was still much more 'hands-off' about helping Sora deal with her mommy issues. Besides, it's the Digital World. More people in the group means the monster has to spend more time deciding who to eat and so you have more time to beat it.)
Also, gotta say: a Taira or Taito vid would be easier to make. Relationships involving Mr. Main Character himself get more focus than the one involving his two best friends. XD
The timing slips in Yamato's chorus. I'm not sure what happened, exactly... I'm pretty sure I had it timed correctly in MovieMaker, but I'm not quite sure. Still learning, I guess.

I think it's time to wake this community up from its slumber xD... It's been dead for a while and the pairing is just too cute to have a dead community. C'mon now peeps!
For my poor attempt to bring life into this com., I come bearing Sorato fanart!! Ok so no... they're not mine (I wish they were!), but they're the latest Sora x Yamato fanarts floating around DevaiantArt. I thought I'd share them with you incase you weren't keep tract ;D

just thought i'd give everyone a heads up that after two years of hiatus, i have finally finished a Sorato fanart. i would think i’d get worst after awhile at drawing Sora and Yamato, but this didn’t turn out too bad. i tried a different coloring style than my older fanarts so i need feedback. there’s a lot of things wrong with it, proportion wise (Yamato’s head) and the shading could have had extra dark and light levels, but let me know what you think.
