AboutA multi-fandom fic inspired by films such as A Bridge Too Far, Empire of the Sun, A Town Like Alice, Merry Christmas Mr Lawrence and the BBC TV series Tenko.
The Story
The story begins with the fall of Singapore, 1942 and the evacuation of British nationals from the city. One ship, bound for Australia with a smattering of refugees and accompanying British soldiers on board, is torpedoed and sinks in the Java sea. The survivors gather on a beach, and are subsequently captured by Japanese soldiers before being interned.
