Welcome!

As you've probably guessed by now, this is a community where you can claim any Sonic character your heart desires. This community was inspired by the now deceased

sonikku_tag. After more thinking, my friend

nejlbana and I decided that we should split it up into two parts. I'm in charge of the characters. If you're looking to claim a zone, item, or any of the sort, head on over to

sonicetc_claim.

PLEASE READ THESE RULES AND FOLLOW THEM BEFORE POSTING!

1=- Only one claim per person. If you're wondering why each of the moderators have two claims, it's because... well, we're the moderators, and we can do stuff like that. ;p

2=- Please make your own entry when posting. If you try to claim in a comment, it will be ignored.

3=- Please READ The Claims List before making your claim. This is very important!

4=- If someone had already claimed the character that you want, you may still claim that character, but from a different universe. Example: One person may claim the SEGA version of Sonic, and another person may claim the Archie Comics version of Sonic. Furthermore, here are the Sonic universes you may claim characters from:
SEGA (includes Sonic X and video games)
Archie Comics
AoSTH
SatAM
Sonic Underground
Sonic the Hedgehog OVA
Fleetway Comics (Sonic The Comic)

5=- You are allowed to claim a different form of a character as well. Example(s): One person may claim Sonic, and another person may claim Super Sonic. One person may claim Chaos 0, and another person may claim Perfect Chaos.

6=- Claiming of unofficial or fan characters is not allowed. Sorry. Claiming of chao is also not allowed, unless it's a specifically named chao, like Cheese, Omochao, or Charcola.

7=- When claiming, it would be nice if you'd bold the character name, along with the universe you're claiming it from. It makes it easier for me to sort out, so I'd really appriciate it.

8=- No advertising or spam! The only exception is if it's a Sonic the Hedgehog related community. Speaking of which, you should really check out

sonicteam_icons, which is a community for finding Sonic the Hedgehog LiveJournal icons. :3

9=- You must CLEARLY link back to this journal in either your user info, a noticable place on the layout of your journal, or in a marked journal entry where the rest of your claims/communities/RP characters/etc are housed. It can be a simple text link, or you can even make a banner to show off to everyone. I will check this every so often. After you have posted your claim to the community, and I approve of it, it will be added to the Claims List. After that update, I'll give you a week to post your code. If I don't see it, your claim will be dropped and open for someone else to take. Here are just two of the various examples you can use:

10=- You must also stay a member of this community once you've claimed a character. If you leave, your claim will be dropped and open for someone else to take.

11=- If you delete your journal/change journals, it's your responsibility to make a new post and let me know. If I see that your journal has been deleted, I will drop your claim.
