About
One of the most popular things to do among LiveJournal icon creaters, particularly in certain fandoms, is to create icon songsets. So here's a place to put them all together!

The Rules are few:

  • Please follow the following format in posts:
    Name of Song:
    Name of Artist:
    Genre of icons: Examples: "NBC TV shows," "Harry Potter slash," "random photography," "Lord of the Rings."
    Your rules: Display only? Comments? Credit? What about sharing and modification? Specify, and no feelings get hurt.

  • Please put icons behind an lj-cut tag. Songsets are, by necessity, graphics-intensive, and we want to be friendly to low-bandwidth users. It's okay to have a few teasers poking out; it's also fine if, instead of a cut-link, you post a link to the appropriate page of your website or post of your icon journal. We here at [info]songsets respect bandwidth issues!

  • Technicalities are no big deal. If your icon set is, say, a Shakespeare soliloquy, you can still post it here. You also do not need to post an icon for every one of the song's lyrics, but icons do need to be an actual set of reasonable size. Just use your common sense and everything should be fine.

  • Please don't spam the community with off-topic posts. [info]songsets is proud to promote other worthy communities and causes, but please ask the mod ([info]etoilepb) first!
