Consider this a place to share the songs that remind us of Doctor-Rose (from happy to fun to sad to hopeful) and why we love this ship. This includes MANY things - look here for some of the things that are considered "on topic" for this comm. If you have suggestions or questions, please don't hesitate to Ask The Mod. Here are some additional guidelines for general community membership, posting, and the usual administrivia:
Community Guidelines
1. This is first and foremost a Doctor-Rose community with a focus on the music in our lives and how it comes to represent and remind us of the Doctor-Rose relationship. The primary emphasis therefore is on 9/R or 10/R, but will not preclude consideration of "other" Doctors so long as the primary pairing is Doctor-Rose. Please Ask The Mod if you're not sure if something is or isn't considered "on topic".
2. Feel free to be as "shippy" as your little hearts desire! If this is not your "cup of tea" there are many many other DW comms that are more broadly focused. A list of other communities is provided here as a resource: Links to Other Communities
3. While media files (e.g. mp3, avi, wma, or any other format) may not be uploaded or posted on the community itself, posting of links to fanmixes and fanvids is allowed as long as they are friends-locked at the poster's journal. Anyone who doesn't heed this rule will be asked to edit their post, or it will be removed.
4. Any song titles or lyrics used in posts or fics posted here must be properly credited to their performing artist or writer (both, whenever possible). This also applies to the use of titles or quoting of lines from published poetry. Any posts (including posts that link to fics) that do not follow this will be screened with a reminder sent to the posting individual to make the correction. Posts that are not corrected within 24 hours of notice are subject to deletion. Please put yourself in the writer/artist’s shoes – they want and deserve credit for their work and it’s no different than citing a quote from a book when writing an article, paper, thesis, etc.
5. If you post a recommendation for a fic to add to the Fic-Song Master List (see "To Get Us Started" for more information on this), please include the fic author, fic title, song title, and if possible the song artist, and a link to the fic.
6. Administrative "stuff":
The Mods reserve the right to update these Guidelines as necessary and will post any changes to the community first.

- As with other comms you might frequent, there will be no bashing or any type of personal attacks allowed here – period
- Please use lj-cuts or “fake” cuts to your journals for any fics, songlists, or other lengthy posts
- Spoilers go behind cuts – if you aren’t sure if something is a spoiler, Ask The Mod
- Heed LJ rules for things that are grounds for banning and keep the “no bashing of any kind” in mind at all times
- Cross-posting of fics to other DW/Doctor-Rose comms is encouraged, but always be mindful of different communities’ posting rules - some comms may not allow or desire songfics, for example
- Fic or fanart should only be posted here if it is based on or inspired by a song/poem in some manner
- Fics should have proper header information and ratings are absolutely mandatory. Please see this post for description of our fic header and a template that you can use.
- Check our community lexicon for a list of terms and definitions unique to our musical perspective.
