This place is going through a 'hardcore' revamp. i'll try to be more active. in regards to your questions/comments, I can't apologize enough, but i'm currently composing a FAQ page, so hopefully it'll be useful to both you and me. You won't have to wait a year to hear an answer and I don't have to keep repeating myself.

Icons
I; Find your way to the 'Manage Userpics' page (http://www.livejournal.com/editpics.bml).

II; If you haven't uploaded the icon to your LiveJournal (LJ), then now is the time to do so. In a blue box on the left hand side of the page is the place to 'Upload a New Userpic', use this if you want to upload a new icon. Browse for the file and select 'From File'.

III; In your 'Keywords' field, type in keywords that will help YOU identify the icon you are uploading (the keywords you use is entirely up to you).

IV; Now in the field below that (the 'Comment' field) copy and paste the following code:

<lj user="sondecouleurs">

This is the code that will credit me as the icon maker and it will link to this graphic journal. To credit any other icon maker is the same, just change the sondecouleur to whatever the icon maker's username is.

V; Click on 'Save Settings' and you're done.
