Twin Shopp draws from the young, forward thinking design circles of Europe. This small boutique focuses on new brands, those still without Moscow representation. Located in the Solyanka club, Twin Shopp will introduce these cutting edge designers to the Russian market

Location
The Solyanka Club, a three storey 19^th century townhouse, is situated in the very centre of Moscow. Inside, the club itself is as much a product of the design as it is of the private atmosphere. Oversized leather armchairs anchor vintage carpets, mirrors frame pre-revolutionary chandeliers. Together with its clientele, the Solyanka club is imbued with the air of a private apartment, recasting this venue into a modern day salon. Solyanka has a diverse music policy, hosting various nights from Thursdays, through Fridays, until Saturdays. Thursdays boast the full spectrum of hip hop music. Friday is all techno and its tech-house derivatives. Saturdays enjoy a rotating schedule, with parties that span from Nu-Rave to Dancehall.

Solyanka has yet to open to the public and operates as a discrete underground venue. Despite the official opening in September, the club has already received the highest of praise from numerous music blogs and internet communities. A very strict information policy maintains Solyanka’s identity, as the club chooses not to distribute press releases to mainstream media. Information is simply spread through mouth to mouth rather then orgonised PR stunts. We have our own blog – www.s-11.ru.

About the shop

Twin Shop is spread over 60 sq. meters which is 10% from the overall clubs capacity. The entrance is located on the second floor and gives the impression of a separate space, with original spiral staircases. The store was founded by two twin sisters Inga and Ulia Vitrjachnko who previously never had any experience in the retail business. All brands selections are based on their taste and their passion in bringing something new and fresh into the city.

Global trend and consumer reports rate Moscow as one of the most expensive cities in the world, surpassing global metropolises such as Tokyo and London. This is a city where status and success are taken beyond commodification, they are festishized by Moscovites. Twin Shopp harnesses those common threads of the latest generation- image and glamour - the specters that define clothing. The boutique is first and foremost dedicated to the community affiliated with the Soljanka club. We drive towards the ideal of having customers come to the club in the clothing which they bought in Twins Shopp. The community and a network of those who will actualize this objective are already in place.
