| About: | Edit: Community is now open for a while, namely because your moderator accidentally deletes emails from prospective members since they get filed to her junk mail and she's lazy. If we see anyone who is really, really obnoxious (the bad kind of obnoxious), however, the community will be closed again and people will have to apply. Welcome to our humble abode! (not sure what an abode is) This is a place that basically posts/mocks bad poetry... this includes things such as *Goth poetry: "My life is like a dark pit of darkness..." We like making fun of this more than other types. *Sappy love poems: "His eyes were like two big onions that make me cry." *Trying so damn hard to rhyme: "I wanted to tie his shoelace...but I quickened the pace... and lost the race... what a disgrace." It is a closed community (we don't want people just putting crap up), but we're nice, just send us a poem of yours and you're in. Just a couple rules... namely, limit your posting to maybe 2 poems per day per user, but most importantly... This is not a community for serious poets! We want your crap....py poetry. This is a place for laughter. Tell your friends about us (you know... the ones who like to write bad poetry)! The more the merrier! And remember...
