A community for Sociologists and people interested in Sociology and related subjects
Admin's Notes:
1. Feel free to post your surveys here. However, be informed that surveys answered by members of this community are in no way representative of the population at large, and indeed are only representative of the members of this community.
2. WE ARE NOT HERE TO DO YOUR HOMEWORK FOR YOU
If you want to discuss something you did for homework, that's fine, but don't ask us to do your work for you. Anyone found posting their uncompleted homwork assignments on the message board will be warned and, if needs be, banned from the community (This does not include asking for recommended sources for research, asking for opinions on completed work that you are thinking of editing for publication, or brainstorming on future research. This does include asking the community to help you do an assignment that your Soc professor gave you for Monday. This also includes asking people to tell you which topic to write about, or asking people to construct an argument for your paper. Homework is considered incomplete until it has been submitted to your professor. The word "homework" implies both short assignments, longer papers and take-home tests)
3. Trolls and other people who needlessly start drama and insult other members of the community will be banned without warning and their posts deleted. Members who re-post deleted posts will be banned without warning.
4. Promotion of non-sociology communities is not allowed. Posts doing such will be deleted
5. Comments must be enabled at all times. Any post that disables comments will be deleted.
6. The moderator reserves the right to interpret these rules in any way that she see's fit.

lostreality. She also created and moderates
applyingtograd for people who are applying to graduate school. She's very busy, so if you have any problems regarding this community, please leave a message in her personal journal, and she'll deal with it as soon as possible.
