Iced Tea [Nov. 12th, 2008|09:59 am]

_losingtouch_
Hi, everyone! I hope this is okay to post. I am just doing a little bit of market research for a school project. If you could help me answer these questions, that'd be great.

1. Do you drink Iced Tea?
2. If you do drink iced tea, what do you like about it?
3. Do you tend to purchase pre-made iced tea that comes in a bottle or do you make your own iced tea?
4. Do you like Snapple iced teas? If so, why are they superior to other brands?
5. Do you know that Snapple has released an entire new line of iced teas?
6. If you buy iced tea in a bottle and you don't buy Snapple iced tea, what brands do you buy?
7. Are you male or female?
8. How old are you? (you can give me an age range if you don't want to give me specifics)
9. What is your lifestyle (i.e. work full time, working mom, stay at home mom, stay at home wife, student, etc.)?

Hello, fellow Snapple lovers! I'm Heather. My love for Snapple has just recently gotten stronger. I bought a 12-pack at Walmart and now I can't stop gulping Snapple Peach Iced Tea. I try to sip it and savor the flavor but it's too damn delicious to sip :(  Any sipping tips, guys?

I don't know if this has been posted in here before, as it is an old article, but I thought it was fun to read, and the proposal story was just too sweet.

Message in A Bottle
The Amazing Real Facts Behind The World According to Snapple

By Peter Carlson
Washington Post Staff Writer
Monday, July 14, 2003; Page C01

"A duck's quack doesn't echo."

"A snail breathes through its foot."

"Fish cough."

You learn a lot reading the inside of Snapple caps. You choose your flavor -- lemonade or pink lemonade or peach iced tea or whatever -- and you twist the cap. It opens with a jaunty, snappy "Thwop!" You flip the cap over and there it is, a "Real Fact" to ponder as you gulp.

"A camel has 3 eyelids."

"Slugs have 4 noses."

"Lizards communicate by doing pushups."

The facts on Snapple caps are incredible, astonishing, mind-blowing. To read Snapple's 229 Real Facts is to realize that the world is more strange and wondrous than you'd ever imagined.

"Squids can have eyes the size of a volleyball."

"Oysters can change from one gender to another and back again."

"Mosquitoes are attracted to people who have recently eaten bananas."

The world according to Snapple is full of marvels and oddities. It's a place where "beavers were once the size of bears" and "a sneeze travels out of your mouth at over 100 miles an hour" and " 'Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star' was composed by Mozart when he was five years old."

So it should come as no surprise to dedicated readers of Snapple caps that the story of the caps is full of weird little facts that could appear on Snapple caps if Snapple ever decided to create Snapple caps about the history of Snapple caps.Read more... )

The Snapple Facts book [Sep. 3rd, 2005|06:48 pm]

[Feeling | curious]

Hi, I am new here. I am from Germany and we don't really have Snapple here (you can find it if you look for it, like at Starbucks and SFCC, but not at a grocery store). One drugstore used to have them (three flavors only though) but not anymore. I love Snapple, and I did get it regularly while I lived in the USA. I also love the Snapple facts. I always read them, but I couldn't keep the lids (I knew I was only going to live there for a year, and I really didn't have any extra space to take them home).
I was reading in this community, and I found out that there is the Snapple Facts book. I am thinking about ordering that but I couldn't really find all that much info on it (on Amazon.com and Amazon.de). So I was wondering, does anybody have it and could you please tell me, does it have all the Snapple Facts in it?
It is rather cheap here (thanks to the dollar-Euro exchange rate) but I want to make sure it really is worth spending money on before I order it. Thanks guys! :D

My name is Heidi, and I've recently acquired a new addiction: Diet Snapple's Lemonade Iced Tea. It only happened a couple of days ago. My mother bought a multipack of Diet Snapple for her boyfriend. She noticed the two bottles of Lemonade Iced Tea, and gave them to me because I'm a bit fond of both lemonade and iced tea.

Well, I was hooked. Now I'm looking for it everywhere I go, and I have already won two free Snapples under one of the caps. The real facts make me happy, too, as I love to learn new information. I have the feeling this new addiction might be a bit healthier than my last one (Diet Coke, but only in a bottle). 8)

I got this awesome surprise in the mail today that just has me coming out of my skin and I put everything to a halt to get these pictures taken and posted to my journal.

***HUGS*** Thank you [info]adudeabides!!!!!

I totally don't know what to do with myself and these souvenirs. Should I refrigerate them? Consume them? Keep them shelved? GAH!

I've never see it before, so i'm pretty excited.

Also, When i get snapple facts, they always seem to have
numbers in the 100's or above. Do you get facts with numbers
in the double or single digits?!

I'm also making a Snapple Stenicl shirt today. Or atleast
i am going to try.
