Friday recs: Snape crossovers
I'm very fond of crossovers for some reason. I like reading and writing answers to the question, "What happens if I take characters from this world and make them play with characters from this other world?" So today I decided to rec some of my favorite crossovers that feature Snape. There's a lot, so I'll group by what's crossed in and cut.


I'll start with the Snape-Vorkosigan trilogy
Titles: Marks and Scars, Without Enchantment, and No Great Magic

Fandoms: HP, Vorkosigan books by Lois McMaster Bujold
Rating: PG-13
Genre: Gen
Notes: These are quite old and HP canon compliance is only through GoF. Severus Snape and Mark Vorkosigan actually have quite a bit in common, which becomes evident when they meet up despite the light-years and centuries that should make this impossible.

The only two House-Snape fics I know of. (So far. sahiya is co-writing another with a friend of hers.) There need to be more stories that combine these two insanely snarky characters.

Summary: It's been over six years since the fall of Voldemort and Professor Sprout has retired. There is something strange about the new Herbology teacher, and Professor Snape is determined to find out what. Trouble seems to follow her, or is it his past seeking him out? And then there's a prophecy. Isn't there always a prophecy? (Note, this is a WIP, currently updated through chapter 13. It will run 31 chapters, 30 of which are written but are getting revised and beta'ed before posting.)
