Hey there, bet you thought I was dead, huh? Well I'm not. The truth is.... I'm a bit stumped with what to do next with the comic, and I could really use some feedback. I've also lost my comic sketchbook again, that has all the future comic plots.... but I think I know the main ones well enough (and will probably end up changing them anyway)that it shouldn't be too big a deal.
Anyway, I had a plan for comic #25, but now I'm not so sure if I should do it, because I'm worried it's stupid. Well not stupid, the whole comic is stupid, just un-funny.

So I'm thinking about having a Death Eater comic contest. So far it seems like a lot of people would be interested in entering. This is what I'm thinking of:
There would be three categories: Best art, most humourous, and then the third would probably most creative. The comic could be in any medium, pixel art, computer colored, pen and ink, anything. It could be in color or black and white. Each of the winners could choose either a character drawing doen by me or a three month subscription. Allof the comics would be featured on my webpage with links back to the creators home page. The only restrictions would be that the comic would have to be at least four panels, have either Snape, Voldemort, a Death Eater, or one of the original comic characters, and could not be too obscene (keep it about PG-13ish). The deadline would probably be a month. I'll also probably get a few other people to help me judge in order to make it fair.
What do you think? I want some feedback so I'll know if there's anything you guys want me to change. Longer deadline? Better prizes? More categories?
I'll probably announce the official contest on Feburary 11th (my birthday).

I figured my Mary-Sue icon (made by me, with the help of that Candy Dollmaker thingy, and based on the houses that Pirate Monkey and ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) pottersues came up with) would be appropriate for this entry, since it focuses on the comic's newest, and scariest character, Serenity the Mary Sue.

*phew!* The sad thing is that almost all those names have appeared real Mary-Sue names (I just browsed the pottersues archives for ideas).
She speaks 13 languages including Elvish, Parseltounge, English, Japanese, German, French, Latin, Chinese, Spanish, and Russian. She has seven animagi forms (WTF?) including a wolf, a unicorn, a tiger, a hawk, and a fox with two tails.... or three.... or something.
She has blond hair with pink streaks, and purple eyes with gold around the edge of the iris (I saw these exact eyes in a horrible Sue fanfic, I kid you not *shudder*).
At least she says so. Of course whether it's true or if she's just plain crazy is up to debate. However, everyone DOES agree that Serenity is annoying as hell. Dumbledore seems to be the only person who doesn't care.

Hurrah! The 18th comic is up! XD Go check it out! The next one is already inked, so and I can start coloring it right away (although knowing me I'll procrastinate because I suck).
The character page is up on the website as well, right now only Snape, Voldemort, and Morgan are there, but Kendra will be added soon. Other future additions will include Tom, the chicken, Malfoy, two new characters that haven't been introduced yet, and Dumbledore. Other character bios will depend on how often they show up in the comic (for example I don't know often the trio will be popping up, but if they start showing up alot they'll get there own bios too).
I also updated the FAQ section, so I think I've covered just about every questioned I've been asked more than twice. It would be a great help if you guys could skim over it and tell me if there are any questions you want me to add, or anything in general you want me to add to the webpage in general. :)

Just wanted to say I love the comic really.. I wish I had more to say, but I have no complaints, I cant think of any way to make it funnier than it is, major kudos :)
So after that complete waste of everyone's time, i'm going back to read the archive :)

Well, it's been along time since I last updated (remember you guys can post here too if you wish!), mostly because I've been having internet and computer problems. But they seem to be remedied for now. Anyway, I updated the official comic website: http://snape.comicgenesis.com/ with some cool new fanart, and fanfic in which Morgan is a character. i'm bored out of my mind and going stir crazy... so i figured what better way to take up time than to talk about the comic? besides someone's gotta update here other than morgan!
SO: here's a behind the scenes look from someone who's not the author!
Many of you know about the time and dedication that go into her comics and how long it takes to make each one to her ocd perfection :O but what you may not know is how far along the comic is! that's right! i've seen into the comic future!~ *insert nifty music effect here*
the way morgan keeps her ideas organized is through a mini spiral sketch pad on which she'll draw the basic outline/idea for the next comic almost always in chibi form. sometimes the crap drawings turn out cuter than the real ones (since they're all deformed and star like and adorable). anyway, she has them all sketched out in order and will leave room for improvements or new comics every few pages. (side note: morgan maybe you want to show some sort of tutorial how your comic goes from crap sketch to how it is!)
another fact you might not know? sleepovers involving chanting the team rocket theme at 3 in the morning when trying to sleep are great times for creative flow for the comic! :D
and now you know, cause its mike's super short---- wait a minute this isnt the disney channel!

Well I'm almost finished with the second panel of the 17th Death Eater comic (there's six altogether). This one has Dumbledore in it. XD This comic is much simpler in its design than the previous one, mostly because the scenery made my eyes bleed (and the 18th comic is probably going to have a detail intense shot of the great hall which I'm NOT looking forward to drawing because I suck at perspective drawing), so it should take less time to finish, but I'm in the middle of finals so I don't know how much time I'll have to devote to it. x_X

Hurrah! The very first post. :) Welcome everyone. This community was made for everyone to discuss/praise/complain about the Death Eater comics I've been making. I will post here to give updates on the progress of the comic, answer any questions you might have, and give you insider info (don't you feel special?) that won't be posted on DA, Elfwood, or the comic's website.
Right now membership is open to everyone and the rules are simple:
No flaming, spamming or harrasing of the other members. Make sure the posts are related to the comic, and do not contain any "offensive" material. Oh, and if they're gonna be super-long posts or contain large images put them behind an Lj-cut.
