AboutThis community has been organized to host a Fest: "Snape After DH." We'll be soliciting prompts for stories and art that feature Severus Snape in light of the new information we get about him in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows. Stories and art can be gen, het, or slash (any pairing, any genre), and will be posted in this comm between October 15th and Nov. 1st.
Frustrated by certain events in Deathly Hallows? Excited by new revelations about our favourite Potions Master? Here's your chance to explore Snape's character in depth, using the new canon for the period before Deathly Hallows is set, during that year of canon, and post-Deathly Hallows.
All stories and art submitted for this fest have to clearly focus on some element of DH canon. We expect - and, in fact, strongly encourage - people to focus on proposing "fixes" for Snape's fate.
We seek a different future for Snape, the sort that can only be supplied by fandom. Because he deserves so much more.
We are also mirrored on Insanejournal, and will encourage participants to post on both sites. Please feel free to join or friend our comm there.
