1.What is your name/What would you like us to call you? KT
2. How old are you? 21
3. What makeup experience do you have, if any? i've been playing with makeup ever since i was young, other than that i've had a bit of makeup education in cosmetology school but mostly just experimenting on my own!
4. What is your makeup style on a normal day? typically since i am not a morning person, i do a neutral eye with a defined crease & highlight, winged eyeliner, foundation, and gloss. when i dont have to wake up horribly early, i like a smokey eyes.
5. What is/are your favorite brand(s) of makeup? l'oreal hip cosmetics aren't bad! since im broke hahaha i like those a lot at the moment.
6. Who inspires you with their makeup in this community? of course doedeere does some wonderful stuff!, but i also really like sassychix, smitten00kitten, and oh_sherrie just to name a few :]
7. Where do you get your inspiration from? im constantly searching the internet and flipping through magazines for inspiration, but i take inspiration from random things around me like my clothes, flowers, and artwork.
8. Why should you be accepted/What can you bring to the community? i love playing with makeup, i love looking at other people's makeup, i'd be an active poster and commenter!
9. Who is your favorite professional makeup artist and why? kevyn accoin, mostly because that was the first makeup book i got years and years ago and looking at making faces really gave me great insight and showed me different things to do! plus his work is classic and beautiful.
10. Post atleast 6 DIFFERENT looks of your makeup for us to judge.

As of yesterday, I became a licensed Esthetician. I know it has a lot of benefits, besides the obvious of doing what I love.. But I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get discounts &/ professional products? I know Ed Wyse, and that MAC has a pro-card.. But what else is out there?

Well I moved 3 weeks ago, my boyfriend and I FINALLY got our own place and the bathroom mirror here isn't all shattered like it was at his parent's. But go figure, I scratched my cornea so I haven't been wearing my contacts or much makeup, plus I've been stressed out and broken out so yeah. :/
So today I sat down and went something along the lines of "Wow, I have 42 blue eyeshadows I never wear." Seriously. I think blue always looks weird with my skintone and I only own two blue pieces of clothing, and go figure both of them are navy blue with white polkadots. So I decided to fool around with some blue makeup of mine. I kinda remember why I don't use a couple of the colours now, like Bell-Bottom Blue pigment, which was bitch of a time getting it applied how I wanted it to be, and Waveline fluidline, which mine is old and goes on all chunky D:. So all in all, I'm really not satisfied with this look, but I suppose being active is still a good thing. :)

3. What makeup experience do you have, if any?
Ive been doing my own makeup for about six years. Every once in a while I experiment on other people.
4. What is your makeup style on a normal day?
Depends on my mood. Usually smokey neutrals with a dark lip.
5. What is/are your favorite brand(s) of makeup?
Mac, Urban Decay, MUFE, Benefit, Nyx, Ben Nye... basically all.
6. Who inspires you with their makeup in this community?
oh geez, I'm sure I'll forget a lot of people but one's that come to mind are Horrifant, Ramie889, Gogetcokes, Toxicxxbitch(or something like that), Udklit, and tons more.
7. Where do you get your inspiration from?
People from various makeup communities.
8. Why should you be accepted/What can you bring to the community?
I'd love to bring some activeness! It seems like people used to post here all the time and I know everybody is busy with there own things and all but I miss seeing so many faces here :(
9. Who is your favorite professional makeup artist and why?
Kevin Aucoin, for obvious reasons. I've watched the episode of Strangers With Candy with him as Sharpei countless times.

1.What is your name/What would you like us to call you? My name is Kali, so that will do.
2. How old are you? 20.
3. What makeup experience do you have, if any? No professional experience, I've just been a makeup lover for years!
4. What is your makeup style on a normal day? A blend of colours with black liquid liner and mascara on my eyes, foundation and concealer with a light powder on my skin and a medicated lip balm on my lips, usually (I bite my lips!). If I'm lazy, I leave off the eyeshadow and just do the liquid liner with a nice wing.
5. What is/are your favorite brand(s) of makeup? I love Mac and Nyx, but for liquid eyeliner I stick to Maybelline. Make Up For Ever has great eyeshadows.
6. Who inspires you with their makeup in this community? udklit. Her pictures catch my eye and definitely impress! I've done some similar looks but hers look stunning.
7. Where do you get your inspiration from? Usually I just pick colours out of my makeup box and figure it out as I go along, but sometimes I see pictures that I can translate into my makeup. And of course, I see other people's makeup and can be inspired that way, making a look based on (but different from) someone else's.
8. Why should you be accepted/What can you bring to the community? I think I do my makeup pretty well and can offer ideas to other people... or maybe just fun makeup pictures to look at. :)
9. Who is your favorite professional makeup artist and why? I don't have one! I mostly just check out amateur artists. You don't have to be professional to be good at makeup application. :)
10. Post atleast 6 DIFFERENT looks of your makeup for us to judge.
I just started taking pictures of my makeup so I've scrounged up what I could find for this part. :) The most recent are toward the end.

ok the makeup isnt anything really special but i'm actually growing out my eyebrows after the comments i got from a lot of you. it might not be a permanent thing but i am taking your opinions. also i got new hair so...
