Aloha, Yes, yes I know... Another contest comm! *Snerk* Except *Stage whispers* this is a contest site with a slight difference. Not only do we have icontests but wallpapers, colour bars and banners as well. We work on a rotation system, a different type of graphic each fortnight. We focus on actors from Doctor Who and the spin-off series Torchwood, using images of them both in and out of character. Our original line up featured David Tennant, Christopher Eccleston, Billie Piper and John Barrowman. We've since expanded to include: the Torchwood ensemble of Eve Myles, Burn Gorman, Kai Owen, Gareth David-Lloyd and Naoko Mori; former Doctors Peter Davison and Paul McGann; and women of the Doctor's hearts Elisabeth Sladen, Sophia Myles, Freema Agyeman and Catherine Tate. The main aim is to have fun and enjoy ourselves. I see so many wonderful icon communities out there but unfortunately wallpapers and banners tend to get left out of the loop ;-) This comm is meant to remedy that. |
| RULES |
1. You may enter 2+ (Mod's whim) of the specific graphic type for each challenge. 2a.You may only use the images provided (unless stated otherwise) 2b. You may use brushes, text, etc to create your graphic. 3. Don't vote for yourself or tell others to. Play fair. 4. Submissions must remain anonymous and not be posted anywhere else until after the results are revealed in the winners post. 5. If making icons then they must be LJ compatible. 100x100 pixels, <40kb. 6. Please ask permission of the maker before snaffling any graphics, or adhere to the requirements each user puts in their graphics post. 7. Voting and posting will be anon... so screened comments people. 8. Mod's may enter as long as it's announced. 9. No animation (It makes it a level playing field for those of you without the capabilities) 10. One screencap per icon (Unless otherwise stated) This rule does not hold true with wallpapers/banners or colourbars. |

Sunday evening (GMT) a new challenge will be posted. You've got two weeks to create and submit your graphics. Submit your entry via a comment to the main challenge post. These posts are always screened. You must post both the url and the image using < img src = " URL " > html tag, without the spaces. Usually we have a 'Best Use of Text' & 'Best Use of Colour' vote as well, and when the mood strikes, a 'Mods Choice' award too. Votes are submitted by commenting on the voting post.
