AS OF 22ND OF JANUARY 2008 THIS COMMUNITY IS ON AN INDEFINITE HIATUS.

Hello, and welcome to the community. You do not need to join to participate; you may join to see the icons and vote in the polls. 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners will receive banners at the end of the week. 1st place winners will have their icons used as the community icons. As part of our weekly prize, the 1st place winner may also decide between a personalised icon of their choice made by a moderator of their choice, or pick the next week's theme.

The rules are listed below. Please read all of the rules before joining, and make sure you submit your entries correctly if you are participating. Thank you.

1. Live Action, Manga, Anime and the musical are all acceptable.
2. Fanart is not acceptable.
3. All icons must be Sailor Moon related.
4. Submitted icons must be compatible with Livejournal. [100x100 pixels and 40kb]
5. Do not post your icons anywhere during the contest, or get your friends to vote for your icon.
6. Do not steal other people's icons and claim them as your own.
7. Do not criticise other entries.
8. Submitted icons must be no more than 7 days old.
9. You may not vote for your own icon.
10. If a character theme is posted, you may submit 2 icons per member: one as Senshi form, and one as regular form. Ie Sailor Jupiter/Makoto Kino. However, if a specific character theme is posted, you may only submit one icon. Ie Princess Serenity.
11. Do not use your Livejournal userpics as a hosting site (unless it is the image hosting site for Livejournal). Get a Photobucket or use ImageShack.us or Greatest Journal as an alternative.

If your icon violates any of the above rules, it will be disqualified.

On Monday, one of the moderators will post a theme. Comments to the submission post will be screened. Your submission should contain the following:

Vote only once and not for your icon. Votes will be tallied and winners posted the next Monday along with the new theme.

Vote for 3 icons (1st, 2nd, 3rd). Your first choice will receive 3 points, your second will receive 2 points, and your third will receive one. Votes should look as follows:

1st: 03
2nd: 07
3rd: 05

or

3, 7, 5

or any other easily understandable method.
