Sailor Moon Collector

Hey guys! I just wanted to share a decent deal with ya guys. It's the 2002 Sailor Moon World Calendar. It's brand new and has gorgeous pics! I just received mine in the mail today and I'm in love with it.

Here is where you can find it! Only $5.99(on sale)! Standard shipping was a tad expensive, but it was for a large priority box, so altogether I paid about $15 bucks, which still isn't that bad for this OOP calendar! Check it out.

I know a lot of people on here do their own custom dolls. Well, I was thinking of starting up doing some myself! (lol More since I don't have a high enough budget to do all the cosplays I want, and there are so many awesome characters that there aren't dolls of, like the villains and freaking Princess Kakyuu XD... That and my original idea of making a bunch of cosplay props isn't financially realistic right now u.u)
Just a couple questions though, to those that do them.. What kind of dolls do you use? Do you stick to recycling old SM dolls? Or do you use other kinds? Also, how many of you make them to sell? And do they sell reasonably well? I was thinking of making some to keep, and some to sell at cons and maybe through the communities, but I don't even know where to start in terms of pricing them. What do you guys usually do?

And to the rest of you, what are some dolls that you'd like to see or might be interested in purchasing if they were awesome enough?

I'm looking to buy a pocket watch that resembles the Moon Phase that Mamoru gave Usagi in the live action series. Has anyone ever come across one that looks like it?

I think they took a regular round pocket watch and added the silver parts to give it its star shape.

How much is this "locket" worth? From what little I can tell from the picture it's plastic (of course) but I can't see if there's anything inside of it or not. What do you guys think?

YAY! I got an awesome Sailor Moon bento set in the mail yesterday from jelenity!

Isn't it awesome?! Does anyone happen to have the bag that would match these? Or one that's pretty darn close? I would love to have a little bag to put it in.

I absolutely plan on bringing some food to school with this set this up coming semester. There's nothing weird in a forth year college student eating lunch (or rather dinner with my schedule...) out of a Sailor Moon lunch set. :D

Can someone tell me why my SM reprint mangas don't have stickers in them? My books were purchased brand new from two fairly large Japanese bookstores but only one or two volumes have the stickers in them. If the book has stickers does that mean it was a first printing or something? I'm confused. 

Can someone clue me in? I'd appreciate it. I'm sort of bummed mine don't have the stickers in them....

Does anybody know how much talking Chibimoon goes for? I found someone on Craigslist selling her, but when I emailed them they wanted $200. I thought that sounded like too much and told them I didn't think it was worth $200 (I don't actually know though) and they sent back a hilarious capslock message telling me to go to Japan where they saw a out-of-box SuperS wand sell for $1000. So I lol'ed and now I actually want to know what she's worth. She's MIB, but I don't think that helps because the batteries in those dolls can corrode if you don't take them out..

So, is she worth $200 or more? Do out of box SuperS wands go for $1000 in Japan? Somehow I doubt that last one..

Which 6 inch North American dolls have removable footwear?

I really thought none of them did, but I just found out that the Princess Serenity that came with the playset does.

Do any others? My dream pockets need shoes ^^;.

Hi all! Just a few questions and thoughts, here.
I've noticed the Sailor Moon 6 inch mini world dolls are fairly cheap around the net at present time. Of course with all BSSM merch, with time, the value goes up and they become harder to find. Now, I'm not typically a doll collector, but I do love Sailor moon World Merch, so I have decided to try and collect all those dolls while they are still at a decent price(I know if I waited, I would regret not getting them!). What are your guys' thoughts on this? Do you expect these dolls to rise in price any time soon? I'm still in need of a few of them.

I put together a live action Usagi-chan!

Hi guys,

I've totally renewed the room where all my Sailor Moon items was stored, from fornitures to lamps, from the wall colour to carpets. A  friend of mine helped me (thank you so much)...
We have tried to organize the items by series, it was funny :D
I've also stored MANY items and doubles.
The stuff are much more protected from dust now and they are also displayed in a better way.
Please take a look and let me know your opinions. :)

I recently purchased three Sailor Moon SuperS doll dresses off Mandarake. I'm really impressed by them and want to possibly collect more.  *Edit Thanks  lunazvezda  for showing me where I can see a majority of the Japanese release dresses!*  Does anyone have pics of the Italian or German release dresses?  I know Kanegon.com has a few of the Italian dresses. (I'd like to see more of the dress/ Sailor fuku hybrid outfits!) These aren't mine, but I found this site while searching and this person has a ton of Sailor Moon doll clothes! They also have two German Sailor Moon dresses. I love the German Super Sailor Moon Dress!!

I just couldn't be any more happier. My friend tonight just gave me her SuperS box set. Seriously. I told her I needed that one and the S box set and she told me she and her sister had one they weren't using. And she just gave it to me. She is now my most super best friend in the world. I gave her my Tuxedo Mask doll, because I didn't want it. So that's one box set I don't have to spend ridiculous amounts of money on. ♥
