AboutABOUT. This is the home of the new Smallville Big Bang Challenge. Like the Energizer Bunny, our word counts will keep going and going until they reach 15,000 words and beyond. All writers, vidders and artists in the Smallville fandom are welcomed to join this multi-ship/genre challenge. Our philosopy is the more, the merrier! Essentially, the Smallville Big Bang Challenge is here to inspire writers to create a story of 15,000 words or more. Vidders can either create a plot-based video or can create a video for a story. Artists can create art for either a story or a plot video. Creation is the goal here! DATES. Sign-ups: March 30 to April 15 Beta Sign-up: April 26 to May 2 First draft: June 25 Art selection: June 25 to June 30 Completed work due: August 10 Posting: August 11 to August 15 RULES. 1. Be respectful to other fans. Disliking a particular character or characters or ships is perfectly fine, it happens. But there will be no flaming/attacking/mocking/harassing of a fan or a group of fans here. If you do this, there will be consequences. 2. Before signing up for the challenge, please read carefully through our sign-up rules that are located here. Know what you're getting yourself into before you sign up. 3. If you have any questions, please see our faq post that is located here. If you have a question and it hasn't already been asked, ask your question.
