Author's notes: With a name like Scorpius Hyperion, I couldn't resist.


"Nooo! Not my golden hair!" Scorpius clutched at his braid as if Draco was about to cast Crucio instead of a simple haircut charm.

Draco blamed his wife for letting their son wear his hair long ("But he looks so pretty, dear.") He had not pressed the issue since Scorpius was tutored at home.

But now the boy was going to Hogwarts, where the last male student with long hair was none other than Lucius Malfoy.

Draco sighed. "If you keep your marks up and become a prefect, you may grow your hair down to your arse with my blessings."

*chuckles* I loved this! Oi, that was too cute. I can just see it playing out in my head! And, I can see Scorpius stubbornly doing well in Hogwarts just so that he can grow it out... And, of course, one of the Potter children will notice and fall madly in love with his long, golden locks... *giggle*

lol true true... For some reason I was thinking Rose was a Potter, which I know isn't true, lol... It was late and I was tired and that's my excuse and I'm stickin' to it! hehe... But yeah, seems Albus and Rose are the favorites for Scorpius...

I like Scorpius/Rose because their ship sounds like a rock band ;-)

Plus, v. Romeo & Juliet--it'll be even more fun if Draco had a fling with Ron and/or Hermione MWHAHAHAH X-D

Ahhh! *beats back the rabid plot bunny* I really don't have time for yet another fic idea! lol..

Synopsis of idea: Ron dies while Rose/Scorpius are at Hogwarts; a couple years after Ron's demise, Rose and Scorpius fall in love, etc; Draco and Hermione meet at a dinner or something for their kids and start talking and slowly fall in love; Rose and Scorpius are disgusted with the turn of events and try their hardest to break them up. *nodnod* Just saw the whole fic play out in my mind, lol... Of course, it could be that Hermione died and it's Ron and Draco that fall in love, I'm just partial to Dramione, lol...

Of course Scorpius' going to grow out his hair once he's a prefect. Just because ;-)


Oh, Jo said it in her interview. (Not that I usually pay attention to her interviews.)
I have multiple Scorpiuses running around in my head for different storylines, and it's easier to differentiate them by giving them different middle names ;-)
