Junkie XL - Booming Back At You
Holistically, a bizarre blend of psychedelia, 80's kitsch and sexual overtones, "Booming Back at You" is raw, raunchy, light-hearted and thoroughly enjoyable stuff. Shallower than a roadside puddle, slicker than greasepaint and sleazier than sin itself, this is what Techno Body Music should embody, and what Junkie XL has managed to do - in spades.

Quench - Fanion
"Fanion", the latest result of this musical approach by the Funcken brothers, is a collection of four complex, but definitely still quite laidback, compositions with each track being an example of skilful and precise composition with great attention to detail. Aptly titled "Fanion" feels like a marker in a sonic exploration in progress which, if pursued, may well be quite interesting.

Autoclav1.1 - Broken Beats For Broken Hearts
The track listing on the album has each track described as "broken" rather than "remixed", a nice touch, but it's lucky of course that most of the artists here managed to repair the damage they inflicted on Autoclav1.1 and return with something worthwhile in its own right.

Life's Decay - Szilentia
Life's Decay have certainly got the potential to become a major force within this still small scene of military pop, but as the singer is the focal point of any pop group this one really is holding them back.

Banister - This Is Not About Noise
This collection of recordings suffers from poor sound choices and questionable mixing. The percussion is stale. While it's not the worst thing I ever heard, it certainly falls into the realm of the bland and quickly forgettable.
