Community Profile

I created this community before Slayers Revolution was announced/aired in Japan, at a point when it seemed that the odds were pretty small that any other Slayers manga/novels/whatever would ever get released in English. That may change depending on how well Slayers Revolution does commercially in the US. However, the fact still remains: a lot of Slayers stuff (novels 9-15, Knight of Aqualord, etc.) were never officially released in English. Us non-Japanese speaking fans are going to have to depend on fan-translations if we want to read this stuff. A lot of fan-translations already exist, but they're scattered all over the place and can be difficult to find.

This community's purpose is to serve as a collection of those translations. Here, you can link to various fan-translations that you find on the internet, or post a translation that you made yourself. This isn't just limited to English translations: you can post them in other languages as well.
Translations of Lost Universe and other Kanzaka works are welcome too.

Examples of stuff that needs to be translated:
-Novels (like vol. 9-15 of the Honpen series, Slayers special, etc.)
-Manga (like vol. 8 of Super Explosive Demon Story, Knight of Aqualord, etc.)
-Radio Drama transcripts
-Various fanworks (fanfiction, doujinshi, fancomics, etc.)
-Anything else you think should be translated

A couple rules before you start posting:
1) Regarding subs of the anime (especially Revolution/Evolution-R): I am adopting the same rules used by theslayers. You may NOT post links to subs. You MAY, however, post links to raws and translated scripts in the form of .txt, .ass, .ssa, or similar file formats.
2) Posting translations of works that have already been officially released in that language is prohibited (ex: posting an English translation of one of the Slayers novels that's already been released in English by Tokyopop). This includes works that are scheduled to be released.
3) No plagiarizing. If you want to post or link to a translation you didn't make yourself, give credit to whoever did. If you don't know who made it, say so.
4) Before posting a translation, please check to see if anyone else has already posted it here. It'll get annoying if a million people start posting links to the same thing.
5) Be nice (that goes without saying).
